First off, I’ve noticed *way* fewer breakouts—even during my period, which is usually when my skin decides to throw a full rebellion. This alone deserves a standing ovation.The real plot twist? My Asian mom—who is notoriously honest and has never once handed out compliments for free—randomly said my face looks clearer. CLEARER. I literally asked her if I had lost weight (because I’m trying), and she was like, “No, your skin just looks better.” I trust her judgment more than any skincare influencer, so that was a big moment.Texture-wise, it’s super lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave me feeling like I’ve marinated my face in oil. Their formulas may not always be the flashiest or most cutting-edge products on the market, but they tend to be thoughtfully formulated, reasonably priced, and they usually deliver exactly what they promise. This serum is a great example of that philosophy.As a 52-year-old with post-menopausal dry skin, I’m always looking for ingredients that target uneven tone, dullness, and pigmentation without irritating my skin barrier. On paper, this formula checks a lot of boxes.The star ingredients are 10% niacinamide and 4% tranexamic acid, both well-known for helping improve the appearance of discoloration and uneven skin tone. The formula also includes 2% arbutin, another ingredient commonly used in brightening products, along with panthenol, multiple forms of hyaluronic acid, vitamin B12, and sodium hyaluronate to help support hydration.What I like most is that Tosowoong didn’t simply throw high percentages on the label and call it a day. I’ve had consistently good experiences with Tosowoong products, and this one continues that trend.A solid, thoughtfully formulated brightening serum that does exactly what it claims to do.
