    A Nice Crafting Gift Set For The Dog Fan

    This makes a nice crafting gift for the dog fan. I got the Bulldog version, not because I have a Bulldog, but because it looks very similar to our Boston Terrier.The paper is supplied with the shapes pre-marked out and the instructions are reasonably clear (but it is still a bit fiddly). I also wasn't expecting the need to use glue, assuming this was simply folding paper, but thankfully some glue is also provided.Overall then this will make a cute little desk display... if only it had slightly longer Boston Terrier legs :)

    ブルドッグはシリーズの中で一番易しいようです。説明書は割と直訳っぽいのですが断線=裏から表に折れる→点線=谷折り連続したライン=表から裏に折れる→実線=山折りということですね。折れ線が予めついているので形は綺麗に折れます。両面テープを使わないでと書かれているので、付属の接着剤で乾くまで接合部を持っているのが焦ったかったです。ダブルクリップやゼムクリップがあると楽かも。でもだんだん形がブルドッグになっていくのが楽しいです！

    Upon opening up the package and seeing the pieces and the assembly instructions, it felt a little daunting, so I put it away for several weeks until I had more time and less pressing concerns to take care of. Ok, so I decided I'd finally just dig in and once I got started it felt more approachable, though still quite fiddly with lots of folding and glueing. If you have trouble with space perception or deciphering instructions from diagrams, this may not be the smoothest activity for you. Luckily, I'm good with that stuff. I did it over 2 nights just because I started late at night. The glue that's included works really well on paper and holds perfectly fine after you apply some pressure for several seconds. I managed to lose one of the little pieces, but managed to make my own out of black paper and that worked out great. My dog is almost perfect - there one part that I didn't line up perfectly in the middle, so he's a tiny bit askew if you look closely, but if you're not inspecting him super up close, he's awesome and stands tall on his own. Very cute paper dog. This is good for someone who's good with details and likes a short term craft. This would be too difficult for your typical 5-8 year old, I think.

    多少複雑な折り紙ではありますが、立体で犬の姿になっていくのはなかなか楽しく、多少のことはそれで吹き飛ぶ感じはしました。接着、糊付け待ちなどは落ち着いて一息入れるくらいの感覚でゆったり組み立てるといいかなと思います。
