    37鍵のミニキーボード。DTMを始めてからずっと25鍵のミニミニキーボードでえっちらおっちらやっていたのですが、それがついに壊れてしまい、折角ならもう少し良いものを……と思い購入。25鍵のミニミニキーボードに比べれば遙かに弾きやすいですが、やはりミニキーなのでどうしても、キーボードの打鍵感はおもちゃのキーボードの、「ぐにゃっ」「ふにゃっ」としたあの感じではあります。そのため、どうしてもキーボードでリズムを正確に入力するのには熟練が必要で、DAWへの入力はクオンタイズありきです。また、片手で3和音以上の音を弾こうとすると、指がつっかえて1音落としたりしてしまうことがあります。普通のピアノを弾き慣れている人ほど難しいかも。とはいえ、その辺りを差し引いても、付いてくる音源も豊富ですし、DAW、キーボードやパッドのレッスン用のソフトまで付いてくるので、とりあえずこれ一つでDTMを始められます。出来ることが多すぎて、取扱説明書を熟読しながらあれこれ弄ってみないと全ての機能は使いこなせないくらいです。操作は若干複雑なので、マニュアルはダウンロードして常に手元に置いておきたいところですが、マニュアルにたどり着くまでには一苦労します。というのも、公式サイトが一部日本語に対応しておらず、また対応している部分も操作が若干不親切で、マニュアルやチュートリアルを求めて訪れる度に新しい機器の登録を求められたり（よく見るとスキップリンクがあるのですが）、同じページを行ったり来たりさせられたりする羽目になります。また、リンクを辿ってあっちこっちしているあいだに日本語ページを離脱して英語ページに遷移してしまったりと、ウェブサイトの使い勝手はいまひとつ。音源のダウンロードも、説明を辿っていった先で海外サイトへの会員登録が必要（住所入力を求めらる場合も…）だったりするので若干根気と勇気が要りますが、面白い音源が色々入手できます。使いこなすに当たっては若干の知識が必要になりますが、この価格でこれだけの機能と付属ソフトが手に入るのは十分コスパが良いと思います。一方で、余計な機能は良いから弾きやすい鍵盤が欲しい、という場合、鍵盤のみに機能を絞った機種の方が圧倒的に弾き心地のいいものを入手出来ると思います。

    Can totally understand why someone might give this a 5 star rating but can also understand why someone might give a 1 star rating, it totally depends on the needs of the individual buying the product.Positives:1: The aesthetics, love the white keyboard with grey keys, looks classy2: Drum pads are small but feel good, not too soft and not too hard.3: The size, it’s slim and very lightweight, easily able to transport around and place on your knee.4: The software inside the keyboard is great (probably the best) for production work with some great chord aids. Particularly like how you can play random chords and the keyboard tells you which chord you’ve playedNegatives:1: Obviously it’s mini keys so takes some adjustment however the key travel is very shallow. It’s fine playing the white keys but playing chords with black keys is difficult because there’s almost zero travel near the back of the black keys so you have to press really hard or the black key won’t register. So be prepared to not be satisfied and wanting alternatives.2: Very difficult to play anything, practice chords, practice chord inversions or arpeggios. However the included software means you don’t need to physically play chords or arpeggios as these can easily be programmed in. However if you’re buying this solely for production work the 25 mini key version is smaller/ lighter and will do the the job too.Conclusion: I have a 88 key digital piano and wanted a midi keyboard not only for production work but also to practice chord inversions and arpeggios to create muscle memory. So I also bought the black 37 full key version, it’s not that much longer in size but it’s deeper and heavier (I’d say the max size to sit on the sofa and play off your knees) but the keys are so much better and easier to play.So I’ve returned the 37 mini keys and swapped it for the 37 full key version as it’s much more suitable for piano/ keyboard players. If your only interest is production work then either the 25 mini or 37 mini would be fine, both are small and sleek and easily transportable.
