Schnittschutzschürze
Der Hersteller gibt in der Produktinformation an, dass die Chaps über 8 Schutzschichten (6 Lagen schnittfeste Fasern + 2 Lagen 1050D Oxford-Polyester) verfügt und nach EN ISO 11393-2, Klasse 1 geprüft ist. Diese Norm gilt für Schnittschutzhosen bei Motorsägenarbeiten: Klasse 1 bedeutet Schutz bis 20 m/s Kettengeschwindigkeit, wobei der Schutzbereich sich auf die Vorderseite der Beine erstreckt (Typ A).In der Praxis zeigt sich, dass das Anlegen etwas umständlich ist. Die Gurte verlaufen hinten und werden mit Steckverschlüssen geschlossen, was allein eher fummelig ist – zu zweit geht es leichter. Lässt man die Verschlüsse nach dem ersten Anpassen geschlossen, kann man später hineinschlüpfen, ganz komfortabel ist das aber nicht. Positiv: Die Gurte lassen sich individuell einstellen und decken eine große Spannweite ab (Universalgröße).Mein Fazit: Für den Hobbybereich ist diese „Schürze“, die ich für Amazon teste, ausreichend und robust, für den professionellen Dauereinsatz aber nicht die beste Wahl – hier würde ich eher zu einer kompletten Schnittschutzhose greifen, die leichter anzulegen ist und auf Dauer mehr Komfort bietet.

Hose ist praktisch+ solide.Das Klickschellensystem und die Schnellverstellung der Schnallen sind durchdacht. Erster Einsatz im Holz und Tragekomfort war sehr positiv.Ich kann die Hose nur weiterempfehlen!

Interessantes Konzept, aber durchwachsene Leistung
Die Schnittschutz-"Hose" kann prinzipiell über eine andere Hose gezogen werden. Dazu müssen aber ggf mehrere Schnallen gelöst werden, außer die Hose darunter ist eher eng - was beim Sägen unpraktisch ist. So ist der Vorteil gegenüber einer normalen Schnittschutzhose für mich nicht wirklich ersichtlich. Eine solche ziehe ich genau schnell an und aus.Die Hose an sich fühlt sich qualitativ gut und robust an, allerdings stehen an verschiedenen Stellen Fäden und Futter ab, was den Eindruck schmälert. Am Hosenbund wird die Hose ebenfalls durch eine Schnalle gehalten, was sie etwas unförmig aussehen lässt, was aber bei einer solchen Funktionshose eher zweitrangig ist. Schade finde ich, dass die orangenen Applikationen hauptsächlich an der Seite sind und weniger vorn als erwartet - siehe Foto.Ob der Schutz entsprechend gut ist, habe ich natürlich nicht getestet und muss den Herstellerangaben vertrauen.Alles in allem für mich ein interessantes Konzept, das aber dann doch einiges an Potential liegen lässt.
Besser haben als brauchen!
Der Beinschutz fürs Sägen ist äußerst Praktisch gerade wenn man wie ich nur ab und zu zur Säge greift aber dennoch Sicherheit möchte.Er sitzt gut und kann durch diverse Klipse noch passgenauer eingestellt werden.Ich hoffe ich werde die Fasern dadrinnen nie brauchen!

Sicuramente ben fatti e utili questi "pantaloni": non essendo dei veri e propri pantaloni, ma essendo che si aprono sia in vita che lungo tutta la gamba, sono molto versatili in quanto possono essere indossati da persone di corporatura diversa.Sono certamente pesanti ma, una volta indossati, non creano disagio.Anche il fatto di avere le chiusure che stanno all' interno delle gambe, non danno assolutamente fastidio nei vari movimenti.Sono lavabili facilmente in lavatrice ad una bassa temperatura.Riguardo la protezione antitaglio non posso fare una valutazione (e spero di non doverla fare mai! 😉), ma la fattura è bella spessa e, a parer mio, molto resistente.Essendo così spessi questi pantaloni, credo che col caldo sarà meno confortevole indossarli... Ma piuttosto di rischiare, sicuramente è da preferire la sicurezza al comfort.

I materiali e la costruzione appaiono di buona qualità.Il principale svantaggio è che tengono molto caldo, in periodo invernale li trovo appena sopportabili, d'estate invece non riuscirei ad indossarli.Funzionano meglio se usati sopra ad un paio di pantaloni elastici, infatti con le cinghie strette vanno a bloccare il movimento dei pantaloni sottostanti che tendono a strapparsi nella zona inguinale quando ci si piega.Per le persone più alte di 1.90 m lasciano scoperte le caviglie.In generale sono soddisfatto e li uso non solo con la motosega ma anche come protezione in zone con rovi o lavoro con strumenti manuali come machete o falcetti.
