Great shorts
I picked up these black and white Adidas shorts and have been genuinely impressed with them. The overall build quality feels solid and well put together, with neat stitching and a clean finish throughout. They’re made from lightweight polyester that feels soft against the skin and allows plenty of airflow, which makes a noticeable difference during workouts.The elasticated waistband provides a comfortable fit without digging in, and the zipped side pockets are a practical addition. The pockets are mesh-lined, which helps with ventilation if left open. They’re deep enough to fit a large phone securely with the zip closed, although the added weight does pull slightly, fine for short periods but probably not ideal for intense activity.It’s worth noting these are standard shorts without an inner mesh lining or built-in briefs, which may suit those who prefer wearing their own base layer.The design is classic Adidas. The three-stripe branding is a transfer logo, while the contrasting side stripes are stitched panels, giving them a slightly more premium feel. They fall just above the knee and offer good room through the rise.They’ve been washed at 30°C with no colour fading, shrinkage, or change in shape, and they dry quickly too. The Climacool fabric does a great job of preventing overheating, which is particularly appreciated during exercise.For a recognised brand at this price point, they represent strong value. Comfortable, lightweight, and practical, a great option for both workouts and casual wear.
Comfortable, lightweight shorts
These are a lovely pair of shorts (black/white) and excellent quality, as I’d expect from Adidas.The shorts are well made and neatly finished off. The lightweight fabric (100% polyester) is thin, soft and breathable. The waist is elasticated, and they have two zipped side pockets, which is really handy.I ordered size M for my partner (his usual size), and they fit him perfectly. He’s been using them for exercising; he says they’re really comfortable to wear, and he doesn’t sweat in them.The shorts wash well at 30° without any colour run, and they don’t shrink/change shape. Very nice shorts
This is a review of "adidas Workout Essentials Base 3 Stripes Woven Short, Others, Grey"I actually ordered these for my son but I'm seriously tempted to keep them for myself. True to size, very lightweight, great quality seams/stitching and the wicking 'Climacool' material that Adidas use in a lot of their sports gear. They look great in the black colour with the white accents too. Two zipped pockets are handy, though you wouldn't be putting anything heavy into them.The quality you'd expect from Adidas.- - - - - - - - -My rating system:5 Stars – an exceptionally good, high quality product, surpassed expectations4 stars – a very good product, met expectations3 stars – could be better in some respects, but still fit for purpose2 stars - significant shortcomings, one which disappointed1 star - an absolute disaster of a product - should not be on sale
