Overdone Liner, Insufficient Lashes
Ardell, you're on my last lash...er, nerve. I've been going the gamut on your collections and striking out big time! This is the last one I'm going to try. The shapes have gone to the dogs and the bands are lousy! Just when I think we finally might have some innovation, like here, with Naked Shapewear, I'm immediately bitch-slapped back to reality! Why would you ruin the believability of such natural lashes with the heavy black look? Style 439 is particularly hilarious, far too sparse to support that much blackness. Leave the choice of liner to us, Ardell. You just worry about the lashes!Another heartbreaking collection, in reverse this time. The band feels great! Totally different from the Invisiband, it's light, stretchy, jelly-ish, and it conforms. Goes on like a dream! It's just too dark and heavy in appearance, and the lash shapes are woeful. Too many short and V-shapes! This much black "liner" should have much more drama attached to the lashes. Another misguided concept! :(
