Every time I track down a silver Silk PLA I really, really like, it either doesn't print that well in my new machine after I have upgraded, or the manufacturer stops making it. It's been a constant trial & error project with different Silver PLAs, but I'm glad I hit the jackpot with this filament!In a nutshell, this material prints really well, no stringing, little tweaks needed (just adjust your speed numbers) and works universally on most of my machines! The silver colour is very light, basically closer to 'Aluminium', but I like it. Many of the so-called 'Silver Silk PLAs' out there produce too dark grey tone anyway. I've had materials which produce a bit more shine on the surface too, but this one has definitely 'enough'!Will be buying this again soon, unless it gets cancelled! ;-)

Hochwertiges Filament mit toller Optik, kleine Schwächen bei der Spule
Nach den ersten Versuchen mit meinem Bambu-Drucker war die Einrichtung des Filaments etwas holprig, da die richtigen Einstellungen nicht sofort passten. Mit etwas Geduld und Feinjustierung funktionierte es jedoch sehr gut und mittlerweile erziele ich durchgehend saubere und stabile Drucke. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Optik: Die Farben wechseln fließend und ergeben einen wirklich schönen, gleichmäßigen Rainbow-Effekt, der sich gerade bei größeren Drucken sehr gut zeigt.

Bekommen, direkt losgelegt.Funktioniert gut, wenn man den Bogen etwas raus hat.Gute Qualität, hält dicht, macht also, was es soll zu einem guten Preis.Sogar ein Beutel mit Silikat-Säckchen ist dabei. Der ist dann aber "offen" gewesen und die Säckchen sind dann lose.Vielleicht sollte man diese dann in einem der Beutel direkt einschweissen :)

Ich rate ganz klar vom Kauf ab.Bei mir ist fast jede zweite Tüte bereits nach einmaliger Nutzung kaputt. Das Hauptproblem ist das Ventil – es ist extrem empfindlich und geht sehr schnell defekt. In meinem Paket waren sogar zwei Beutel, die bereits bei der Lieferung beschädigt waren.Besonders ärgerlich ist, dass die Beutel praktisch nicht wiederverwendbar sind. Sobald ich einen Beutel öffne, um Filament herauszunehmen und später ein anderes Filament einzupacken, ist das Ventil in 80% der fälle schrott. Damit verfehlen diese Beutel ihren eigentlichen Zweck komplett.Für mich ist das eine absolute Enttäuschung. Ich habe Geld für ein Produkt bezahlt, das mehrfach verwendbar sein soll, stattdessen muss ich ständig defekte Beutel aussortieren.Das war definitiv mein erstes und letztes Mal, dass ich diese Beutel bei diesem Hersteller gekauft habe.
Sehr gute Qualität und Druckergebnisse
Das Filament lässt sich sauber drucken und ist ordentlich gewickelt. Die Haftung auf dem Druckbett ist top und das Farbergebnis überzeugt. Es gab keine Probleme mit Verstopfungen oder Knoten auf der Rolle. Würde ich wieder kaufen.

Von der Farbe her total cool, meine Tochter hat sich immer gefreut wenn sie etwas in der Farbe bekommen hat..wenn es denn mal funktioniert hat. Ständig Probleme mit verheddertem Filament. Schade.Von der Druckqualität echt super

Pensavo meglio
Mi aspettavo una diversa distribuzione dei colori, speravo fossero mescolati più omogeneamente, invece nelle stampe di poccole dimensioni si vede quasi esclusivamente il nero. Con altre bobine bicolore ottengo a livello di colori dei risultati più omogenei e meglio distribuiti.
Update: replacement spool fixed issues. Major clogging/skipping issues.
Update (original review below). Manufacturer reached out to me after my review and discussed what printing settings I had tried. After some troubleshooting, they agreed to send me a new roll to try. The new roll arrived quickly and after a bit of fiddling I managed to get two great prints out of the new roll. I will say that the filament was a bit more finicky than normal PLA but once I got the settings right it looks great. I attached two pictures above, one showing the quality of prints of an octopus. The initial roll is in front and the completed print is in the background and the second picture. I highly recommend this filament and would not hesitate to buy it again despite the initial issues due to the manufacturer's excellent customer service.I will start off by saying that this filament looks great based on the layers that I could get to print properly. That being said, getting this to print without adhesion and clogging has been impossible for me with various settings. Adhesion to the bed seems great and the first few layers print very well. After a few layers though it seems like the filament begins to clog the nozzle and then skips layers, eventually ceasing to print entirely. I have tried adjusting temperature upward in increments and also slowed down the print speed, but I cannot get good layers. I also hear a popping noise from the nozzle which makes me think that the filament might contain excess moisture. I have tried the exact same file with both normal PLA and PETG and it prints fine which seems to indicate that the culprit is this filament. If you can get this to print successfully I think it would look fantastic, but I have not been successful so far.
