    I was attracted to this string for a couple of reasons. I think that personalised, crafty gifts are lovely to give and this string has a wide variety of uses, such as putting around kraft paper to make a homemade style present wrapping, or using in crafts such as card making, Christmas tree ornament making, etc.The second one was the fact the vendor put 'Butchers Bakers Twine Cotton String' and as I also love to cook, it's excellent for tying and trussing meats, such as turkey legs or rolled roasting joints. Having a 2-tone string is better for this, as you can see it against the meat and not accidentally serve some up to someone! The thickness seems about right for this, as it looks like the same string I get on my Christmas turkey, and at just undr £5 for 100m of string, I'll not need to buy it again for quite a while!Overall I'm very happy with the finish, the price, and it comes on a spool too, so much easier to control (I tend to snip out a wedge, and pop the string end through it so I can find it quickly next time!)
