    I was really disappointed when I opened this as it is clearly listed as a new MUM baby gift however the items inside (although lovely) are all emblazened with the US version of MOMMY.Really disappointed as it's a lovely set but I feel it is unusable now as I would not gift this to any of my friends with MOMMY on it, unless of course they were American. I just think that it should say this in the listing description so it is very clear what you are getting.

    A beautiful gift featuring high-quality, individually wrapped items arranged in a lovely basket. Excellent value for the price. It comes presented in a large organza bag with a small card included, making it perfect for gifting at a baby shower.

    I chose this newborn gift basket because I wanted a ready-made, thoughtful present for a friend’s baby shower. The basket itself is attractive, and the items inside are soft, practical, and nicely arranged. The cotton rope basket, swaddle, comforter, rattle, and milestone cards all feel well made and of reasonable quality.However, I was disappointed to discover that several items are printed with “Mommy” rather than “Mum.” This makes it difficult to gift in the UK without it feeling out of place, as most of my friends would prefer the local terminology. Everything else about the basket — the fabric book, socks, bib, and general presentation — is fine, but this US wording issue reduces its suitability and functionality as a local gift. I've therefore had to remove half the things in this basket!I used the basket mainly to display the items and take photos for the baby shower invite, and the overall presentation is still pleasing. The organza bag keeps everything together neatly, and the neutral colours mean it could suit either a boy or girl. The rattle has a lovely sound quality.Overall, it’s a decent-quality baby gift basket that looks good and has useful items, but the US wording limits its practical gift value for a UK recipient. If the “Mommy” text doesn’t bother you, it could work well; otherwise, I’d be cautious.
