T-Rex Version
Der Porsche kommt in einem T-Rex-Design daher, wobei ich zugeben muss, dass man das jetzt nicht unbedingt als T-Rex erkennt. Aber vorne sind Zähne zu sehen und generell ist es eher ein "Dschungel"-Design für mich. Trotzdem macht das durchaus etwas her und verleiht dem Modell etwas mehr Finesse, als es das blanko Modell tun würde. Was mich dabei etwas stört, ist, dass dieses Design ausschließlich durch Sticker generiert wird. Ist mir klar, dass bedruckte Teile recht viel Geld kosten, aber hier sind etliche Sticker aufzubringen und wenn die nicht gerade sitzen ist schnell mal das sorgfältige Design komplett dahin. Auch fällt es vielen Kindern durchaus schwer, die ganzen Sticker einigermaßen gerade aufzubringen.Das Set ist 11+ und ich habe es von meinem 11-Jährigen aufbauen lassen. Grundsätzlich absolut kein Problem, wobei er auch ein sehr erfahrener Lego-Bauer/Tester ist und auch schon sehr ähnliche Modelle (sowohl Lego als Fremdhersteller) aufgebaut hat. Insofern war der reine Zusammenbau kein Problem. Die Sticker sitzen in unserem Fall auch mehrheitlich gut, aber die schiere Masse von ihnen war tatsächlich sein einziger Kritikpunkt. Ansonsten gab es beim Aufbau kein komplizierten oder komplexen Stellen. Unerfahrene Legobauer sollten an ein, zwei Stellen aufpassen, dass die Teile wirklich richtig durchgeschoben werden, aber das versteht sich von selbst.Die Größe des Modells ist in meinen Augen okay. Es ist durchaus ein großes Modell und der Preis von 110€+ den aktuellen Legopreisen entsprechend, aber es ist auch nicht riesig, wie der hellblaue Chiron z.B. Für unser Kinderzimmer ist die Größe gerade noch okay, viel größer dürfte er aber nicht mehr werden.Auch wenn eine Lenkung vorhanden ist, ist das Auto definitiv nicht zum Spielen gedacht, es ist ein reines Ausstellungsstück. Die dafür vorgesehene "Aufbock"-Funktion finde ich wiederum sehr praktisch, da das Auto so nicht vom Regal rollen kann. Im Inneren ist ein kleines Rädchen, mit dem man den Wagen auf vier Stützen hochstellen kann. Die Räder schweben dann ganz leicht in der Luft, es ist kaum erkennbar, aber das Auto kann so nicht mehr einfach wegrollen. Wie gesagt: da hat sich jemand was bei gedacht.Für meinen Sohn und damit diese Rezension ist die Stickerflut bei dem Preis von über 100€ tatsächlich das einzige Manko. Wer sich daran nicht stört, kann hier auch gerne 5 Sterne annehmen. Für uns bleibt es bei 4, zumal es jetzt kein grundlegend neues Modell ist und es viele ähnliche gibt. Neu ist tatsächlich das Design, aber auch wenn das cool aussieht, wäre es meinem Sohn nicht über 100€ wert.
Love Lego, poor packaging
Lego is amazing, we love every kit we’ve ever bought but there has been a recent trend of shipping the Lego without an external box - this results in the shipping sticker being stuck on the box and the box arriving battered and looking awful. For Lego enthusiasts and collectors, this is unacceptable.
