This set of “precision pliers” is not precisely as advertised in terms of quality and precisionThe set in general, gives an overall good impression from the beginning. The carrying case is sturdy and the zipper works wellThey are nicely aligned with elastic bands inside the case.After closer inspection, they reveal the flaws in workmanship. Most of them do not properly close all the way. The teeth from each jaw do not align well and there is a small gap. This can be seen with some light or magnifying glasses and in some, there are much more noticeableAlso the edges have not been well deburred. One might think: but at least they are affordable. Yes, I find them affordable. Each piece costs less than 4 euros and if you see them like that, they are not that bad depending on the work you are doingI use these small pliers for jewelry making and I mostly work with silver. Alle Zangen sind sauber verarbeitet, liegen gut in der Hand und lassen sich präzise führen. Die Griffe bieten ausreichend Halt, ohne unangenehm hart zu sein, was gerade bei feineren Arbeiten wichtig ist.Für Anwendungen wie Elektronik, Schmuckarbeiten oder allgemeine Hobby- und Heimwerkerprojekte sind die verschiedenen Zangentypen sinnvoll zusammengestellt. Dieses angebliche Präzisions Zangenset ist leider eine ziemliche Enttäuschung. Die Verarbeitung ist richtig schlecht. An mehreren Zangen finden sich deutlich spürbare Grate, dazu unsaubere Spalte und sogar noch Produktionsrückstände. Von Präzision kann hier wirklich keine Rede sein.Hochwertig wirkt das Set insgesamt überhaupt nicht. Eher so, als hätte man möglichst günstig produziert und danach einen stolzen Preis draufgeschrieben. Für das, was man hier bekommt, ist es schlicht viel zu teuer.Um es etwas zynisch zu sagen: Werkzeug aus der Schießbude kann hier definitiv mithalten, teilweise sogar besser. Für ernsthafte Arbeiten oder Menschen mit Anspruch absolut nicht zu empfehlen.
Erfüllen ihren Zweck
Die Zangen sind in einer praktischen Tasche verstaut, was mir gleich gut gefallen hat, weil ich Ordnung mag. Und hier hat alles seinen Platz und man findet es wieder, wenn man es wieder braucht. Ob die Zangen hochwertig sind, kann ich nicht wirklich beurteilen, aber das ist mir auch egal, weil sie denke ich ihren Zweck erfüllen, wenn ich ab und zu eine der Zangen brauche.
