Mine arrived in perfect condition with no cracks, loose bulbs, or dents.The 23 by 18 inch size is large enough to give a full, clear view while getting ready. The glass is bright and distortion free which makes applying makeup and styling hair much easier. The aluminum frame feels sturdy and more upscale than plastic alternatives. It sits firmly on the base without wobbling and the finish looks sleek in any décor.The lighting is the true highlight. There are fifteen bulbs arranged evenly around the frame which creates balanced illumination without shadows. Love it even more than I thought I would. Super bright!!
When getting this, I actually did not notice it had the option to stand only, rather than being wall mounted, so I put off the project of installing it for a while. When I finally did settle down to do so, I noticed the attachable base, and was thrilled. It means it can be picked up and moved, really easily, to anywhere you have a nearby plug for it. It's large enough to be really effective, but small enough it could slide into a car for a trip, or be moved around for fun events like dressing up for a dance or what-not where multiple people want to do make-up. I immediately knew I'd likely get someone asking to borrow it just for it's portability. I'm glad it has the option for either way to position it, but honestly, the base is sturdy enough not to let it tip, but not so wide as to be hard to place on top of a table, dresser, or anything similar. Even a bathroom counter. I doubt I'll ever put mine on a wall. It comes with all the hardware for both, thankfully, though you'll need your own screw driver, for the extremely fast task of putting the base on. It's literally just four small screws and it locks firmly into place. From opening the box to being able to test the lights was less than five minutes.As for the lights? Amazingly bright. Wonderfully so. This is so much better than any make-up mirror I've had before. With the way the bulbs surround it, it really allows for even lighting from all facial angles, without having to turn and tip your head like you might have to with a small mirror. The settings between the three light options are noticeably quite different, and even after you pick the tone you want, you can then brighten or dim that particular one as well, so there is SO much flexibility to fit what you need according to season or time of day. It's easy to swap between them by just the three buttons on the middle of the bottom of the mirror. Fairly self explanatory.The metal is sturdy. The mirror is beautiful crystal clear and well made. I don't know about the life span of the bulbs, as they do not look like the standard ones you could just run out and replace, but even without that knowledge, I would still recommend this in a heartbeat to someone else. It's a very classy and professional looking set-up for an excellent price. Wonderful product!!!
Beautiful Mirror!
This is a really nice quality mirror. The lights are bright and it comes with 15 bulbs around the frame, which gives great lighting. It also has different lighting settings, so you can adjust it depending on what you need.The size is a nice small to medium size, which is perfect for my vanity. It was very easy to assemble it only took four screws to attach the stand so it can sit steady. It also comes with two screws if you prefer to mount it on the wall.The packaging was amazing. It was very secure with thick foam, and nothing arrived broken, which shows they care about delivery. Overall, this is a beautiful mirror, great quality, and definitely worth it. I love it!
Turned my simple desk into a glamour vanity!
I LOVE THIS MIRROR!! I put it on top of a white, basic, simple table/desk and it magically turned into a NICE, elegant, cool vanity. It looks like something you will see from a magazine. Every fashionista, beauty queen, teenager or just any cool woman WOULD LOVE the way it looks AND the way it operates. It has 3 color settings - warm, natural, cold. The natural light setting is what I use the most when Im doing my makeup. No more doing my makeup in my room just to find out how messed up it is when I look in my car's mirror (in the day light). Im sure we've all experienced that. With the natural light, it's like doing your makeup out in the sun- you see everything you need to see.The mirror is very light in weight but durable. I actually dropped it when my toddler got in the way and was terrified that I damaged it but it still looked and operated like new. The metal stand sits nicely on my desk but to prevent it from falling forward, I placed a double sided tape to keep it stable. Again, I have a toddler so I have to do things like that.I love that I can do my makeup or daily/nightly routine and have my phone right next to me the whole time. When the battery starts dying on my phone, I dont have to go to another area to charge it. With the USB port on the side of the mirror, I can charge my phone right there!Overall, Im very happy with this. I would recommend
