Der BonVache Aktenschrank mit 3 Schubladen überzeugt durch eine sehr gelungene Verbindung aus Funktionalität und wohnlicher Optik. Mit 80 cm Breite bietet der Schubladenschrank eine angenehme Größe für das Homeoffice und wirkt dabei weder zu massiv noch zu kompakt. Der Bauernhaus-Stil verleiht dem Möbelstück eine ansprechende und gepflegte Ausstrahlung.Besonders positiv ist die Aufteilung mit drei Schubladen, da sie eine ordentliche und übersichtliche Aufbewahrung ermöglicht. Für A4- und Letter-Hängeregister wirkt das Modell sehr gut durchdacht und klar auf praktische Büroanwendungen abgestimmt. I wanted to love this, but don't. The wood has split already and the tools supplied are as good as the first few screws - thereafter blunt.
Smart cabinet with minor flaws
My little study needed something more handsome than the battered plastic crate I had been using, and on paper the rustic white BonVache cabinet seemed ideal. It offers three drawers, a side cupboard and a generous 31.5-inch top that supports my ageing laser printer without so much as a wobble. The engineered wood feels pleasantly dense, the squared legs look built to last and an anti-tip strap is supplied should an adventurous toddler decide to scale it.Putting it together took just under half an hour. Every panel is numbered and the booklet relies on pictures, so it is hard to go badly wrong. The slow-close door feels rather upmarket and the back panels are far thicker than the flimsy cardboard inserts I have met in other flat-packs. All three drawers slide smoothly, although they sit a shade out of line, and that tiny mismatch greets me every time I glance across the room. The included screwdriver dulled halfway through, leaving me to finish the job with considerably more elbow grease than planned.Once in place the cabinet looks smart, feels reassuringly solid and devours stacks of A4 folders. If BonVache ever adds soft-close runners to the drawers and throws in a sturdier tool, the unit would be near faultless. As things stand, the combination of tidy farmhouse styling, decent build quality and useful storage still justifies the price.

I am absolutely thrilled with this cabinet. While it’s designed for an office, I’ve actually put it to work in my kitchen. I’m in the middle of clearing out some old cupboards, and this has stepped in as the perfect stylish replacement.The ProductA 31-inch lateral filing cabinet in a rustic "Farmhouse White" finish. It features one large side cupboard and three drawers, including a deep lateral drawer designed for A4/Letter suspension files. Built from high-quality engineered wood, it measures 80cm wide and 74cm high, making it a perfect height for a printer stand or, in my case, extra kitchen surface.My ExperienceIt looks amazing in a kitchen setting; the rustic white finish gives it a lovely country feel that doesn't scream "office furniture." The real win for me has been the drawer space—I’m using the large drawer to house recycling buckets, which keeps them hidden away but easily accessible.The build feels sturdy and stable, and despite the "engineered wood" label, it has a nice weight to it once assembled. Beautiful, well made and high quality file cabinet
4.5 stars, rounded upI am very impressed with this file cabinet.First, all the wood is incredibly well finished, the holes all align, and the tools and hardware are sturdy and of good material.The assembly instructions are very clear, and I love that there is a guide on how to adjust the door that it fits properly.The whole cabinet arrives extremely well packaged, and that is also very fortunate, as the outer, very thick cardboard was badly damaged in transport. Luckily, the thick styrofoam protecting this cabinet boards did a fab job.The wood is very heavy, and the press structure is extremely dense.There’re no nasty smells from any of the items in this package.The numbered labels on the wood panels/boards are very easy to remove, and without any residue.I love the tube-format in which all the hardware is clearly labelled and separated neatly, and is great for cutting open as is. No awkward, countless ziploc bag handling.It also comes with extra spare parts, which is great, because I lost one of the screws during building, as it fell into the radiator - and not through.Nothing in this cabinet build needs glue, which is great, and barely anything was difficult to get into the pre-drilled holes, except for some of the cam lock nuts which were a tad more wiggly here and there.What surprised me the most - and this seems odd, but I love this feature - is that there is an actual, extremely sturdy support cross underneath the middle of the cupboard, which gives it additional stability. I can not remember ever having had a furniture piece that had it that way, especially not a small one.There was one shelf peg only (the metal ones, where the shelf board sits) where I needed a hammer to get it into the hole it was supposed to go.The back panels are double sided with the wood pattern, and are very sturdy and not like a leaf in the wind as with cheaper furniture.The shelf board in the door compartment is carved out to sit securely on the little shelf pegs, which is great - no awkward and wobbly slipping back and forth.The door is slow closing, and barely makes a sound.The file-drawer has two settings for letters: legal and letter, which is great. The metal rods sit securely, and hold a fair amount of paperwork.The integrated mounting to the wall is well thought through, and the cabinet already has legs that are the furniture itself, and not just assembled to the bottom.There have been two issues though:After assembly, the drawers didn’t align too well. Especially the bottom drawer - the one for the files, stands a tad (maybe one millimetre) more forward on one corner (the corner that’s beside the cabinet door.My hubby and I have scrutinized the build and can not quite see why, and we even unscrewed the rails - in the cabinet as well as on the drawer - and put them back together, and this fault persists.The other drawers are off too, though only when looking very closely. All in all someone less pedantic than I am might not even notice though.Whilst the cabinet door has the soft close, the drawers don’t have it.All in all, this cabinet is a joy to assemble, a joy for the eyes with all the rustic but beautiful details, like the edges on the top board, or the little detail that there are already bumpers on the feet preinstalled.
