    Das T-Shirt aus der Sommerkollektion von PJ Paul Jones ist ein interessanter Mix aus klassischem Casual-Look und etwas mehr Struktur als ein normales Baumwollshirt. Ich habe es im Rahmen des Vine-Programms in Größe M (bei 178 cm und 75 kg) getestet und war zunächst skeptisch, ob der gestrickte Stoff nicht zu warm für die wärmeren Tage sein würde. Tatsächlich überzeugt das Material aber durch seine Atmungsaktivität – es ist zwar dichter als ein Standard-T-Shirt, aber dank der Lyocell-Polyamid-Mischung (84 % Lyocell, 16 % Polyamid) bleibt es angenehm auf der Haut und transportiert Feuchtigkeit gut ab. Das ist besonders angenehm, wenn man es bei längeren Spaziergängen oder im Büro trägt, wo man nicht ständig schwitzen möchte.Die Passform ist angepasst, aber nicht zu eng, sodass es weder spannt noch zu locker sitzt. Die Ärmel enden genau dort, wo sie sollen, und der Rundhalsausschnitt liegt flach an, ohne zu drücken. Was mir auffällt: Die Vorderseite hat eine leichte Strickoptik, während die Rückseite glatt ist – das wirkt auf den ersten Blick etwas ungewöhnlich, stört im Alltag aber nicht. Die Nähte sind sauber verarbeitet, und selbst nach mehreren Wäschen bei 30 Grad (wie empfohlen) hat sich das Shirt weder verzogen noch sind Pilling-Spuren aufgetreten. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt: Die Bündchen an Ärmeln und Ausschnitt neigen dazu, sich nach dem Waschen minimal auszuweiten, lassen sich aber mit etwas Dampf oder vorsichtigem Bügeln wieder in Form bringen.Optisch wirkt das Shirt in Schwarz schlicht, aber nicht langweilig – die Strickstruktur gibt ihm einen leicht edleren Touch als ein normales Basic-T-Shirt. Es lässt sich gut mit Jeans kombinieren, aber auch unter einem leichten Blazer macht es eine gute Figur, wenn man mal etwas schicker unterwegs sein will. Der Preis von knapp 20 Euro (im Angebot) ist fair, wenn man bedenkt, dass die Materialqualität über der von Standard-Baumwollshirts liegt. Wer ein T-Shirt sucht, das nicht nach zwei Wäschen aussieht wie ein Lappen und trotzdem nicht wie ein Steifkragen-Hemd wirkt, liegt hier richtig. Für Hochsommer-Tage mit 30 Grad plus wäre mir ein dünneres Baumwollshirt zwar lieber, aber für den Übergang oder kühlere Sommertage ist es eine solide Wahl. Die Rückgabemöglichkeit innerhalb von 30 Tagen macht das Ausprobieren zudem risikof

    Ich habe mir dieses T-Shirt in Beige/Apricot bestellt. Das Material besteht aus 82 % Lyocell und 18 % Polyamid und fühlt sich insgesamt sehr angenehm an: weich, glatt, temperaturausgleichend und hochwertig auf der Haut.Was das Shirt besonders macht:Es ist gestrickt wie ein dünner Pullover. Dadurch fühlt es sich beim Tragen ein bisschen an wie eine Mischung aus T-Shirt und Pullunder. Die Ärmel sind relativ lang (gehen fast bis zum Ellbogen), das Material hat etwas Stretch und passt sich gut an.Man kann es tatsächlich bei wärmeren Temperaturen tragen, obwohl es gestrickt ist – und genauso gut auch bei etwas kühlerem Wetter, weil es eine gewisse Materialstärke mitbringt. Das funktioniert überraschend gut.Zur Passform:Ich habe Größe S bestellt und bin 1,75 m groß. Für meinen Geschmack ist das Shirt relativ lang und insgesamt auch etwas weiter geschnitten, als ich erwartet hätte. Durch das Bündchen unten fällt es zwar ordentlich, wirkt bei mir aber trotzdem etwas zu lang. Das ist natürlich Geschmackssache und figurabhängig.Der größte Kritikpunkt für mich ist das Design:Vorne hat man dieses schöne, gestrickte Strukturmuster – hinten ist das Shirt aber komplett glatt und sieht aus wie ein normales T-Shirt. Das wirkt auf mich nicht konsequent zu Ende gedacht. Entweder ganz oder gar nicht. So sieht es fast aus, als hätte man zwei verschiedene Shirts zusammengenäht. Das muss man mögen – ich finde es eher unruhig.Fazit:● Material: sehr angenehm● Tragekomfort: hoch● Idee (T-Shirt in Strickoptik): spannend● Umsetzung beim Design: nicht ganz stimmig● Passform: eher lang und etwas weiterInsgesamt ein gutes, aber kein perfektes Shirt. Wer genau diesen Mix aus T-Shirt und Stricklook sucht und mit der zweigeteilten Optik leben kann, wird es mögen. Ich persönlich hätte mir das Design konsequenter gewünscht.

    I’ve owned a few PJ Paul Jones pieces before and have usually found their sizing to run on the smaller side. I’m normally an XL and some past XL items have felt quite tight. I ordered a few of these t-shirts in an XXL, but in hindsight an XL would have been absolutely fine, the XXL is slightly too big for me, especially given this is a smarter-style t-shirt rather than a loose casual one. The material is stretchy and comfortable to wear. While I personally prefer standard cotton, the Lyocell/Polyamide mix looks smart thanks to the knitted design and feels good on. It does crease more than I expected, but it still looks polished and works well for a more refined, smart-casual look - perfect for the office which is where I will mostly wear them. I’d recommend ordering your normal size with these. Overall, a comfortable and stylish t-shirt that should work particularly well in warmer weather.

    I got this Paul Jones Knitted Tee Top in Navy Blue, size Large.I have other Paul Jones tops, so was fully expecting this one to be as good quality as the others and it is. The combination of materials used (Lyocell and Polyamide) means that the top is very soft to the touch and feels very comfortable against the skin.In terms of sizing, I tend to go between large and extra large, depending on the type of top and manufacturer, but I've found that the large size in Paul Jones clothing is perfect for me.The knitted finish to this top looks really good, with the round neck being a nice change from a collared or V-neck top. The material is not thin nor is it overly heavy and I find it a very comfortable wear.The top washes up very well, with the shape being retained perfectly, even around the neck.This is a lovely top that I enjoy wearing. Good value for money.
