My friend mentioned that her daughter could grasp it without struggle, and the slim, elongated body of the lion lends itself naturally to little fingers learning to clutch and explore. The fabric is wonderfully soft against the skin, the stitching feels secure, and there is no loose embellishment that might pose a worry to a vigilant parent.The sensory elements are where the toy really earns its keep.
