Sprinklers are great
Great sprinkler system. Though it would be good to add on extra sprinklers and possibly more of the 1/2 pipe.
Useless waste of money
Useless waste of money - each head provides enough water for a small plant (size of a tea plate) would need at least 8-10 heads in a 3ft by 6ft bed - tried multiple set ups with multiple heads no use at all - i’m back to using the hose
Efficient Drip Irrigation System
This drip irrigation system kit is an excellent solution for automated garden watering. The quick-connect fittings made installation surprisingly easy, and the fast-lock tubing felt secure once assembled. I love the adjustable nozzles and sprinklers, which allow for precise watering of individual plants or wider areas, making it versatile for my greenhouse, lawn, and potted plants. The long length of tubing provided enough coverage for my needs. It saves a lot of time and ensures my plants get consistent moisture.
A nightmare to setup.
This kit has a great many bits and pieces - too many perhaps. The instructions are poor, and it is up to you to sort out what can be done with it.I wanted to just try it by connecting up my existing micro-bore system. In order to do this I had cut a short piece of the half inch tubing and fit a tap connector to that. Then I had to fit a four-way micro-bore distributor to the other end of the piece of hose. To test with just one outlet I had to insert plugs into the other three outlets. The distributor also has a pass-through which had to be blocked. This is done by connecting another short piece of hose and fitting a plug to that. In order to change the routing of the micro bore outlet (which had a bad kink in it because of the way I had routed it) I had to disconnect it from the four-way. Unfortunately this pulled the four-way apart leaving one of the outlets open, un-blockable and un-connectable. OK, there are more four-way connectors in the kit, but if they can't be disconnected and reused you are going to have a very inflexible system.I think the lack of flexibility is a crippling drawback for an irrigation system. It would be finr if nothing ever changes - but gardens do.
