    Good For First Body Butter, But Better Out There

    I was really excited when I saw this launch. Nyx is my favorite makeup brand and I have been into skincare - specifically body butters and glazes - for the past couple of years. Also a huge fan of Megan Thee Stallion so points for using the best for the campaign! I got the caramelt and while I feel like I would have been satisfied if I never had something to compare it to, there’s just better out there. You don’t get as much product, the smell was lackluster and didn’t last, and it interacted strangely with my usual skincare routine (made it runnier than usual for some odd reason). I wouldn’t necessarily buy it again because of that, but I feel like it’s a good starting point for those just exploring body butters. Just not a fan personally. I think others have done it better.

    I was curious about this because it’s from a more recognizable brand, and overall it feels like one of those products that leans more into the “make your skin look good instantly” category rather than deep skincare.The texture is smooth and easy to spread, and it absorbs fairly quickly without leaving that heavy coated feeling some body butters have. What stands out most is the shimmer. It gives a soft bronze glow that looks especially nice on shoulders, collarbones, and legs in natural light.The scent is warm and slightly sweet with that caramel pistachio vibe, but it’s not overpowering or artificial. It fades into more of a subtle skin scent after a bit, which I prefer.In terms of hydration, it’s decent but not intense. My skin felt softer after using it, but I wouldn’t rely on it for very dry skin or winter months. It feels more like a hybrid between a body moisturizer and a glow enhancer.Overall, it feels like a product made more for how your skin looks rather than deep treatment. If you like that polished, slightly bronzed finish, it’s really nice. It also makes me more interested in trying other products from this line.
