Dieses Käsemesser schneidet Hartkäse UND Weichkäse.
An Weichkäse scheitern fast alle Käsemesser - außer diesem von WMF, mit seinem sehr feinen Wellenschnitt schneidet sich selbst der weicheste Blauschimmel in exakte Scheiben, und die extra-großen Löcher verhindern das Ankleben. Formschön, praktisch, in gewohnter WMF-Qualität. Wir sind sehr zufrieden.
Super, da haftet nichts - aber recht dicke Klinge
Zum Messer wurde hier schon viel geschrieben, da kann man sich den anderen Rezensenten nur anschließen, es schneidet toll und es bleibt nichts haften.Was mir aber gefehlt hat ist die Info dass die Klinge recht dick ist (~1-2mm). Somit kann man nicht wirklich vernünftig dünne Scheiben von etwas härterem Käse (Alter Gouda, Gruyère) schneiden, da die Verdrängung der zu dicken Schneide einen zu großen Winkel verursacht und die Käsescheibe dadurch bricht.Weicherer Käse ist da weniger anfällig, der kann die dicke Klinge durch seine flexible Konsistenz aushalten.Zudem wirkt das Messer durch den einfachen runden Edelstahlgriff nicht sehr wertig, da hätte man sich etwas schöneres, passend zur extravaganten Klinge ausdenken können.

It's like it was designed to cut cheese - which it was. It cuts the cheese better than knives that weren't designed to. It's much better than karate chopping cheese which is hopeless (unless you are Chuck Norris).
