    As someone who's been using protein powder as part of my fitness routine for several years, I've tried a lot of different brands and flavors - and I have to say that Optimum Nutrition's double-rich chocolate whey protein powder is hands-down one of the best I've ever had. As a student, I consumed a cheaper product because I couldn't afford this. But I always wanted to try this as soon as I was capable enough and now I am never going back to using anything else except this.One of the things that really sets this powder apart, in my opinion, is how well it mixes. I've had some other brands in the past that were a real pain to mix - they would leave clumps or have a gritty texture that made it hard to drink. But Optimum Nutrition's powder is a dream to mix. It blends smoothly and evenly, with no clumps or lumps, and it dissolves completely in water or milk. It's so easy to mix that I don't even need a shaker bottle - I can just use a spoon or a fork and get great results every time which I have showcased in the video quite clearly. It mixes just as well on the last scoop as it does on the first. Also, I've never experienced any bloating, gas, or discomfort after drinking whereas I faced these things with other brands that I have used.Of course, solubility and mixing aren't the only factors that matter when it comes to protein powder. The taste and the nutritional content are important too, and I'm happy to report that Optimum Nutrition delivers on both of those fronts as well. The double-rich chocolate flavor is absolutely delicious - it tastes like a real chocolate milkshake even in water, but without all the added sugar and calories. And with 24 grams of protein per scoop, along with just 1 gram of sugar and 3 grams of carbs, it's a great way to get the nutrients I need without any unnecessary extras.Overall, I highly recommend Optimum Nutrition to anyone who's looking for a high-quality, great-tasting protein supplement that mixes easily and consistently. It's definitely worth the investment!

    Nachdem ich über die Jahre schon diverse Proteinpulver von verschiedenen Marken ausprobiert habe, kehre ich immer wieder zum Gold Standard von Optimum Nutrition zurück. Es ist und bleibt für mich die absolute Referenz auf dem Markt.Geschmack (Double Rich Chocolate):Diese Sorte ist ein Klassiker und das zurecht. Sie schmeckt intensiv und vollmundig nach Schokolade, aber ohne dabei übertrieben süß oder künstlich zu sein. Egal ob mit Wasser oder mit Milch gemischt, das Ergebnis ist immer ein leckerer, cremiger Shake, auf den man sich nach dem Training freuen kann. Es eignet sich auch super, um es in Quark oder Porridge zu mischen.Löslichkeit:Hier ist das ON Gold Standard ungeschlagen. Ein paar Sekunden im Shaker schütteln und das Pulver hat sich restlos und ohne jegliche Klumpenbildung aufgelöst. Das ist ein Qualitätsmerkmal, das bei vielen günstigeren Produkten leider nicht selbstverständlich ist.Qualität & Verträglichkeit:Das Aminosäurenprofil ist top und der hohe Proteingehalt bei relativ wenig Fett und Kohlenhydraten spricht für sich. Ich habe es immer hervorragend vertragen, ohne Völlegefühl oder sonstige Verdauungsprobleme. Man merkt einfach, dass man ein hochwertiges und reines Produkt zu sich nimmt.Fazit:Es mag preislich im oberen Segment angesiedelt sein, aber hier ist jeder Cent gut investiert.     Étant très difficile niveau goût j'avais un peu peur mais finalement c'est parfait. Je fais le mélange avec de l'eau ou parfois du lait d'amande sans sucre et ça se boit facilement. Ce n'est pas trop sucré. Le parfum double chocolat me fait vaguement penser au goût de la Danette chocolat.

I bought the 1lb pack to check the concerns raised that the packaging is mislabeled with a 23gram protein scoop. To all the concerned people, there is in fact 1lb Gold Standard refill pack with 24g protein per scoop. Three things I liked about this product, the manufacturing is entirely done in the USA following strict US regulations, the grams of protein in each scoop and the taste.If you’re new to Protein Supplements, this is a quick overview of few major protein types that are sold in the market today.Most protein supplements that are in the market offer blends of different types of whey proteins. To make it easy, let me break it down for you. There are three types of fast digestive proteins, the cheapest is the Whey Concentrate typically a mass gainer with lots of carbs , then comes the more expensive Whey Isolate and then the most expensive Whey Hydro Isolate .Concentrate typically takes about 2-3 hours to digest, Isolates can be digested in your system within 2 hours, Hydro Isolates is purest form whey and can be taken even if you’re lactose intolerant - Hydro isolates can be digested within an hour and work best as Post Workout drinks. Basically, the price of your protein directly depends on the % of Whey Isolate or Whey Hydro Isolate present. If you’ve enough protein in your diet, no need obviously. From a personal perspective, I would avoid processed food like protein supplements any day, if I can consume enough protein through my diet (egg, milk, meat etc)Health Benefits/ IssuesIt is always advisable to take protein in their natural form (Milk, Egg, Meat, etc), but with a vegetarian diet that could be challenging. Rule of thumb with supplements is DO NOT go overboard - DO NOT take more than 2 scoops in 24 hours, but personally, if you’re not aiming for the Olympics, I suggest to start with 1 scoop a day so that you go easy on your body. In addition, you MUST drink a lot of water when taking protein supplements.
