Simple aber robuste Halterung.
Der Schwerkrafthaltemechanismus ist simpel und zweckmäßig. Das Handy ist schnell in der Halterung aber genauso schnell wieder herausgenommen. Bei meinem Handy verdeckt die Halterung allerdings den Power Knopf, da die seitlichen Halterungen recht weit oben angeordnet sind. Für mich geht das aber in Ordnung.Die Befestigung an den Lüftungslamellen ist robust und hält gut. Die Einstellmöglichkeit mit Kugelkopf ist schön, bringt aber für mich nicht den entscheidenenden Vorteil gegenüber der einfacheren Variante dieser Halterung ohne Kugelkopf (mit Klemmmechanismuss statt Haken):1. Die Halterung steht so sehr weit weg vom Armaturenbrett und wirkt im Fahrzeug eher als Fremdkörper.2. Der Einstellbereich des Kugelkopfs dürfte größer sein. In meinem Fahrzeug (Passat B7) ist der Lüftungsauslass relativ schräg am Armaturenbrett, so dass bei maximaler Ausnutzung des Einstellbereis das Handy noch immer etwas zu stark nach hinten gekippt ist (für meinen Geschmack). Dafür 1 Stern Abzug.
Funktioniert einfach tadellos
Preis-Leistung ist bei diesem Produkt absolut gegeben. Ich kann das Produkt uneingeschränkt empfehlen.Anbringung:Die Anbringung ist einfach. Der Haken wird zunächst herausgedreht und in die Lüftungslamelle eingehängt. Danach wird durch Drehen der Haken festgezogen. Durch die vertikale Gegenstütze hält die Halterung absolut fest. Möglicherweise lässt sich die Lüftung dadurch nicht mehr in ihrem Winkel verstellen, das kommt auf das Automodell an.Halten:Die Mechanik funktioniert tadellos. Ich habe die Halterung in drei Autos, es gab nie Probleme. Das Handy wird von oben auf die untere Auflage gesetzt, die Seiten schließen daraufhin automatisch (mechanisch) und klemmen das Handy fest untere und Seitenauflage sind mit Gummi versehen, um Kratzer zu vermeiden. Einige berichten von Klappern auf ruckeligen Straßen. Ich finde, das ist kaum bemerkbar. Weder springt das Handy auch nur annähernd aus der Halterung, noch macht es Laute Geräusche.Passform:Möglicherweise könnte das Handy zu dick sein, um gute von unten und der Seite gefasst zu werden. Auch könnte ein Handy zu breit für die Halterung sein. Das muss probiert werden. 6,4 Zoll und 8,2mm Dicke passen locker.Alternativen:Diese Halterung gibt es auch noch mit einer Steckhalterung. Ich bevorzuge die mit Haken, ist aber Geschmackssache. Die zum Stecken lässt sich schneller abziehen, umstecken, etc. Die mit Haken sitzt meines Erachtens festerEs gibt auch Halterungen, bei denen der Verschluss elektrisch passiert. Diese fand ich nutzlos. Der Verschluss ist zu langsam und ohne Strom nicht verwendbar.

Very sturdy and convenient! Suction cup models fall off my windscreen in the Australian heat... or my phone overheats! This mount over the vent solves those issues. Its off the windscreen and my phone stays cool in the summer sun in front of the vent.It would definitely fit a wide range of vent types, as its very adjustable.
