Rab's classic Microlight women's vest has received an impressive upgrade with a stylish new aesthetic and some carefully chosen features. The vest with 30D Pertex Quantum Ripstop Nylon outer with 20D lining and GRS certified P.U.R.E. down with 700 fill power, weighs only 259 g and packs away infinitely. The "smart" insulation is also used in the new design. The zoned micro and nano chambers keep the down securely in place, avoiding migration and thus provide better warmth without adding weight, volume or restricted freedom of movement. Suitable for everyday wear as well as part of a layer system in the mountains, the vest is rounded off by the weatherproof DWR coating, two large, strap-compatible zip pockets for the hands, a warm, down-lined collar and a drawstring hem. The new women's Microlight vest combines fantastic low weight, top warmth and good freedom of movement, and can be slipped on in no time at all when it gets colder. Fit: normal cut.     This vest runs really big. I am 5 foot 4, 130-135 lbs and have a 38 inch chest, 30 waist, and 37 inch hip.I wear a medium hands down in the cirrus flex line which is a slim cut. These microlight down vests are a regular cut (checked the website) and it's huge...also it does not have a flattering indent to make a cute waistline. Ordered a small to see if it's better. The steel color is GORGEOUS but I don't like how reflective and bright the label is on the chest. Makes it not a good for everyday outfits. Neck is kinda tight.The size chart matches the Cirrus Flex synthetic line perfectly but not this one. Size down for sure!
