Exactly what I ordered 1000ml bottles
Products arrived overnight. I bought the Square 1000ml bottles with gl45 orange lids. They where bubble wrapped then double boxed. The two boxes fit tightly together so there was no banging things around. I paid more for the square versus round bottles. In my opinion , while compounding in the pharmacy or washing labware afterwards, the round ones tend to roll and get damaged much more. I like the flat surface to write on or place labels too. Not everyone needs to autoclave but name brand , higher quality , bottles are much more reliable. They are less likely to crack. I wonder sometimes how well the other brands temper the glass and to what temperature they are tempered. I am storing Phosphoric acid in mine for Ph adjustment in large amounts of water. I am growing some hydroponics but my tap water is Calcium buffered and Ph 9.0. Getting down to Ph 5.7 takes something serious.
My (expensive) alternative to Mason Jars.
I've been using wide mouth Mason Jars for years. Over time, they broke one by one. Sometimes because of thermal shock or in the microwave, less often by accident. Conclusion: they are not resistant to thermal shock.This Pyrex is made of Borosilicate that is very resistant to thermal shock. The bottom is rounded (more than Mason Jars) and the mouth is wide enough to use a spatula to scrape out the last drop of content. They are a little taller than regular Mason Jars, but not too tall, so that they fit in my pressure cooker (when needed).The (orange) cap is sturdy and leak proof. Altogether, it looks good, but that is not a relevant quality parameter for me.It's been only a couple of weeks since I've received these bottles. So I can't tell how they will perform in the long term.

Pyrex is a great brand and these were an excellent price. Lids seal well and are easy to turn. I got these to bring my ½&½ to work for my coffee! Works most excellent!
