    Ich spiele das Azul Grundspiel von Next Move Games, das Spiel des Jahres 2018, sehr gern. Es ist ein abstraktes, aber schön gestaltetes Legespiel, bei dem ich mit 2 bis 4 Spielern bunte Fliesen in einem Mosaik anordne, um Punkte zu sammeln. Die Regeln sind einfach zu verstehen, und die Spielzeit von 30 bis 45 Minuten macht es ideal für Familienabende oder schnelle Spielrunden. Besonders gefällt mir die Kombination aus taktischem Denken und entspanntem Spielgefühl, die für viel Spielspaß und hohen Wiederspielreiz sorgt. Das hochwertige Spielmaterial und die ansprechende Gestaltung machen das Spielerlebnis rund für mich, egal ob mit Kindern oder erfahrenen Spielern.​

    Azul is a great game for a relaxed gamelight for family and friends. We might not play it too often but when we have friends over which do not play a lot of games this is a good one. It is easy to explain and play. there is some rivalery but mostly it is just comfortable to play. you can chat in between no much thinking needed.

    Ich kenne die 1. (Originale) Version von Azul nicht. Hatte es zwar schon öfters mal in der Hand, fand jedoch das Design der Fliesen schlichtweg hässlich. Weshalb ich es mir letztendlich auch nie gekauft habe...Der Sommerpalast sieht hingegen richtig toll aus! Die Verpackung ist schon ein Hingucker. Aber auch das Spielmaterial selbst wie Punktleiste, Spielpläne, Steine, ja sogar der Beutel sind durchweg ansprechend und sehr schön gestaltet. Bei solch einer farbenfrohen Optik bekommt man sofort Lust zu spielen.Die Regeln waren dabei relativ schnell und einfach erklärt. Ich selbst (37) hatte keinerlei Probleme diese umzusetzen und fand das Ganze Spielsystem durchaus fesselnd. Mir hat es richtig Spaß gemacht.Spielregeln:Das Spiel umfasst 6 Runden mit jeweils 3 Phasen.Phase 1: Fliesen sammeln.Der Rundenzähler zeigt an, welche Farbe in dieser Runde zur Jokerfarbe wird. Nun sammelt jeder reihum Fliesen ein.Entweder sammelt man eine bestimmte Farbe inkl. 1x Joker (sofern vorhanden), oder nur 1x Joker von einer Manufakturtafel. Der Überschuss dieser Tafel kommt anschließend direkt in die Tischmitte.Oder man sammelt eine bestimmte Farbe inkl. 1x Joker (sofern vorhanden), oder nur ein mal Joker aus der Tischmitte.Dieser Vorgang wir abwechselnd so lange wiederholt bis alle Bausteine sowohl von den Manufakturtafeln, als auch aus der Tischmitte aufgesammelt und verbraucht sind.Phase 2: Fliesen verbauen.Nun gilt es die gesammelten Fliesen auf dem eigenen Spielplan geschickt zu verbauen. Hierfür muss der Wert auf der ausgesuchten Form mittels farblich passender Fliesen oder Jokerfarben beglichen werden. Anschließend darf dieses Feld mit EINER Fliese in der entsprechenden Farbe bedeckt werden. Dies gibt einen Punkt. Legt man direkt daneben weitere Fliesen an, erhält man für JEDE Nachbarfliese einen Extrapunkt. Durch umschließen von Bonusfeldern können Bonus Fliesen eingesammelt und verbaut werden.Dies geschieht reihum solange bis alle Mitspieler ihre Fliesen verbaut haben.Phase 3: neue Runde startet.Hierfür werden die Manufakturtafeln wieder neu aufgefüllt. Der Rundenzähler zeigt die neue Jokerfarbe an. Anschließend wird zuerst Phase 1 und dann Phase 2 wiederholt.Nach 6 Runden ist das Spiel vorbei und die Schlusswertung beginnt.Zu den bereits erworben Punkten erhält man Bonuspunkte wenn man Sterne komplett abgedeckt hat. Wenn bestimmte Zahlen in allen Sternen verdeckt sind, ergibt das ebenfalls Zusatzpunkte. Die Übersichttafel dieser Bonuspunkte ist auch auf der Punktleiste zu finden. Für jeden Stein der zum Schluss nicht verbaut worden ist erhält man je einen Minus Punkt.Wie immer gilt auch hier "nur mit der richtigen Spielgruppe macht dieses Spiel auch auf Dauer tatsächlich Laune!" Leider mangelt es mir derzeit aber an spielbegeisterten Mitspielern. Was wirklich sehr schade und auch ein bisschen frustrierend ist. Denn wenn man endlich mal ein Opfer findet, welches sich zum testen bereit erklärt. Dessen Aufnahmefähig aber begrenzt ist, da nicht richtig zugehört wird oder weil man zu hektisch ist. Und man selbst eigentlich nur am helfen ist, statt gleichwertig gegeneinander zu spielen, dann kann das Spielvergnügen leider einen gewaltigen Dämpfer abbekommen...
