Ich hab das Gerät zur Überprüfung der Radonbelastung in unserem Keller gekauft, da wir am Randgebiet einer „Risikozone“ (Mittelbau auf der Karte) wohnen und unseren Altbaukeller zum Saunakeller umnutzen möchten. Das Gerät misst sehr sensibel. Im Messungszeitraum sollten größere Luftbewegung (Lüften, offene Türen/Fenster) vermieden werden.Das Gerät blinkt bereits ab 100 bq (Warnung kritischer Wert), obwohl der offizielle Grenzwert bei 300 bq liegt. Also nicht gleich nervös werden und das Haus abreißen 😃.Der Vergleich mit dem Zigarettenkonsum von 1 Schachtel/Tag = 300 bq finde ich ebenfalls etwas übertrieben.Nach 1,5 Monaten Testlaufzeit hat sich der mittlere Wert bei 140 bq eingependelt.Bei Regenwetter schlägt der IstWert etwas nach oben aus (180 bq) und bei kalt und trocken nach unten (80 bq).Fazit:Geeignetes preiswertes Gerät um kritische Räumlichkeiten zu überprüfen und gesundheitsschädigendes Potenzial zu bewerten.Vorteil: elektronische Messung. Erste Werte sind nach kurzer Zeit vorhanden.

Funktioniert

Gerät in Ordnung.Jedoch die Lieferung äußerst unprofessionell, angeblich an einem sicheren Ort abgelegt. Bei strömenden Regen halbherzig und nur zur Hälfte in den Briefkasten gesteckt, sodass die Verpackung durchnässt und aufgeweicht wurde absolut stümperhaft. Die Lieferung total unbefriedigend.

Ganz ok, Display Ablesbarkeit super, sehr leicht, dafür 3 Sterne, leider keine Halterung um es richtig aufzustellen da man das Gerät nicht am Wand positionieren soll und die ungenauen Werte verwirren mich ein wenig für den teuren Preis.

Easy to use and good for basement monitoring

I’ve had this in my basement for a few days and so far it’s been very easy to use. Just put in the batteries and it started working right away. The readings seemed to stabilize and the screen is clear ,simple to understand. I mainly wanted something to monitor radon levels long term, and this does exactly what I need. Good value for the price and gives me peace of mind.

Simple to use and gives clear readings

Picked this up to keep track of radon levels at home and it has been very easy to set up. The tempered glass gives it a nice, clean look and the display is sharp enough that I can read the numbers from across the room. It shows both units clearly which helps me understand the readings better.After placing it around the house for a few days, the readings have been consistent and the device stays responsive. The menu is straightforward and the overall feel is solid, so I do not worry about it sitting on a shelf long-term. A dependable tool for home safety.

False advertising, or defective.

Detector SEEMS to work, BUT, long period average display is definitely wrong, no idea what's going on here. There's no way that after 20 days, the average went from 238 bp/m3 to 63 bq/m3 in 48 hours. I bought it to have a 1 year average reading, not what I'm getting!I contact the sellers (fast response), but they told me it is working fine, let it read for 31 days it will stabilise the long period average... The more days it past, the worst it gets. Not sure if the short period reading are precise... I'm not satisfied, I will update my review if something positive happens with the sellers.After reading some negative reviews concerning the long period average... I think that it shows approximately what the detector was reading 24 hours ago, what a joke, you can see what's going on right now and 24 hours ago. It serve no purpose unless you go check the detector every day!

I needed my reading glasses and a magnifying glass to read the instructions. Print was so small. Easy to follow once I was able to see the writing.

We renovated the basement at the end of January. I had read many articles about radon gas risks in basements. Because of this, I purchased this Digital Radon Detector. Before using the basement for a long time, it is necessary to test for radon gas. Only then can family members use it with peace of mind. The radon detector is battery-powered and does not need a power cord. It is extremely easy to use. This Digital Radon Detector shows two kinds of data separately in two rows. The above row represents the average value over a certain period of time, which is long-term data. The one below is the data within 24 hours. So after 24 hours of placement, we obtained the first data. 30 bq/m3, that's great! After using it for this period of time, the average of the data has remained basically around 50 bq/m3. Most of the time, they keep at around 30 bq/m3. This way, we feel much more at ease when using the basement. This radon gas detector is truly amazing. It has solved a big problem that had been bothering us. Highly recommended!
