    Ich habe die Firschoie Holzdochte gekauft, um selbst Kerzen herzustellen und eine gemütliche Atmosphäre zu schaffen. Besonders positiv fällt auf, dass sie gleichmäßig brennen, leicht einzusetzen sind und in ausreichender Menge geliefert werden – ideal für Hobbybastler und DIY-Projekte.Ein kleiner Nachteil ist, dass sie bei sehr dicken Kerzen manchmal etwas nachjustiert werden müssen, damit sie gerade stehen.Insgesamt sind die Firschoie Holzdochte ein hochwertiges, zuverlässiges Zubehör für alle, die gerne Kerzen selbst gestalten und stimmungsvolle Lichtakzente setzen möchten.

    Ich bin mit den Holzdochten, sehr zufrieden.Ich lege sie auch nicht in Olivenöl ein.Der Holzdocht sollte circa ein -bis eineinhalb Zentimeter lang sein, dann brennt er perfekt ab.Zum Anzünden nutze ich ein Sturm Feuerzeug und achte darauf, dass das Wachs um den Docht angeschmolzen ist. Ich würde nur gerne Holzdochte ohne Eisenhalterung bestellen können.

    I used one single wick the the first candle, the wick burns to the level of the wax and is difficult to re-light. Will use 2x wood wick for the next one hoping that it will work better.

    Die Kerzendochte aus Holz (60 Stück - Anzahl stimmt) haben meine Erwartungen leider nicht erfüllt.Die Anzahl stimmte und im Grunde sind sie auch gut verarbeitet. Ich hatte diese Art der Dochte auf einem Mittelaltermarkt gesehen und mir mehr versprochen. Leider brennen sie nicht so gut wie erwartet und das übliche Knistern blieb leider aus.Wenn man die Dochte vorab in heißes Wachs taucht, funktionieren sie etwas besser. Doch selbst dann gehen die Kerzen bei etwas Wind sofort aus. Dies macht sie für den Außenbereich oder zugige Räume ungeeignet.Insgesamt bin ich enttäuscht von den Brenneigenschaften und kann diese Kerzendochte in dem Zustand nicht empfehlen.

    Stinkt wie am Lagerfeuer

    Die Holzdochte brennen in Kerzen aus Sojawachs recht gut. Man muß zwei Dochte in den Dochthalter stecken. Beim Abbrennen wird das Wachs dann zwischen den beiden Hölzern hochgezogen, denn nur so gibt es eine Flamme und kein glimmendes Kokeln, das nicht standhält. Die Flamme ist dann "dreieckig", was hübsch aussieht. ABER: das ganze Wohnzimmer stinkt, als ob wir ein Lagerfeuer angezündet oder in der Aschenkuhle gestochert hätten. Leider müffeln dazu jetzt auch unsere Kleidung, Haare, Fenstervorhänge und Sofakissen irgendwie "brandig". Wir können die Dochte daher nicht weiter verwenden, obwohl der Effekt ja sehr schön ist. Der Gestank stört leider zu sehr. Schade.
