Great for the EMERGENCY BAG
I september 2024 this kit was known as "21 in 1 Survival Kit, Outdoor Equipment, ..." from 'YCH-EU Ltd' as their brand. This recently changed, but my review is based on the item received;Everything is very well packed, each item is packed seperately and placed inside a box. The box is, I assume, mild-weather and dust proof, but definitely not waterproof. Having this box definitely helps storing it safe inside my backpack and holding all the items together.The items are of average quality. The knife itself is very sharp to be honest, but the paracord on the other hand isn't very useful in my honest opinion (it will do as a laundry line or to keep my tent or bag in place, but I wouldn't allow 75-100kg force on it).The snowflake-tool and firestarter are of better quality again. However, the firestarter doesn't spark extremely great like the "bigger brands" out there do, but - for an emergency situation and having it in your bag for such cases is definitely helpful. Yes, it starts a fire when done properly, but I have had much better results with other brands on the first or second try.Overall - a great survival for gifting or keeping it yourself. Especially for the EUR 36.75 price it's a steal for what you get; average quality, but not booming.
