    Ich habe für meine beiden Hunde aus der Rettung in Rumänien und in Montenegro einen Test machen lassen. Der eine Hund sieht aus wie ein Terrier Windhund mit 1000 anderen Sachen drin und der andere wie ein Bordercollie. Das der rumänische Hund ein wirres genetisches Durcheinander ist, hat sich bestätigt. Der von uns vermutete Windhund ist auch dabei. Sogar der Wolf. Auch einige auffällige Verhaltensweisen wurden treffsicher herausgefunden. Mir ist bewusst, dass auch geringe genetische Übereinstimmungen mal deutlich zutage treten können. Von daher sollte man auf Äußerlichkeiten nicht so viel geben. Der Hund aus Montenegro ist 0% Bordercollie. ;O) Lustig . Das da ein Labrador drin sein könnte war mir schon irgendwie klar. Immer guten Hunger und ein breites Kreuz. Und - tada!! Deutscher Schäferhund, Labrador und Ovcharka. Sowie englischer Cockerspaniel. Aha, Das kann passen. Farbe vom Spaniel, Kreuz und Figur vom Ovcharka, Appetit vom Labbi .... auch die Wolfskralle an den Hinterbeinen sowie die Schlappohren hat die DNAanalyse herausgebracht. Ich find es einfach spannend, weil man so einige Eigenschaften nun gut einordnen kann. Natürlich braucht man so einen Test nicht unbedingt, aber so manches Temperament erklärt sich. Nettes Gimmick.

    Achtung: Die Ergebnisse halten wir für fehlerhaft-es ist keinerlei Ähnlichkeit mit unserem Hund erkennbar.als „Verwandte“ werden 9 goldene Retriever angegeben. Nur Fragezeichen.

    Auswertung leider nur in Englisch und dauerte 4 Wochen

    Der Test ist sehr einfach durchzuführen und die Beschreibung ist nahezu idiotensicher. Es gibt allerdings 1/2 Stern Abzug, weil das Ergebnis erst nach rund vier Wochen ankam. 1 1/2 Sterne habe ich abgezogen, weil das Ergebnis ausschließlich auf Englisch zur Verfügung gestellt wurde. Die Feinheiten der Auswertung ist für mich so sehr schwer zu erkennen.Schade

    Save your money. There is no way they can tell me the dog pictured is 83% German Shepherd. They must have used another dogs DNA, I have another dog that IS a German Shepherd and Wookiee, the one we had tested, pictured is no way close to being one. It’s a joke at best. Save your money. What a waste of time and money. One Star because I could no leave Zero Stars

    Der Test tut ,was er wahrscheinlich soll, allerdings war bei uns zu wenig DNA-Material vorhanden und ich sollte ein Gratis-Testkit als Ersatz erhalten.Allerdings versendet die Firma mit Sitz im UK nicht nach Deutschland!Also nichts mit Ersatz!Dafür einfach zu teuer.

    I bought this for my rescue dog Lottie (German Spitz). I was amazed how it captured her exactly and could even provide some distant cousins! It broke all the breeds down between both parents too. Very specific.

    According to this test our dog is around 30 kg, in actuality he's only 12 kg. The dog breeds they say that are found in his DNA make no sense at all! If we had uploaded his picture, they would have definitely given different breeds, but we purposely didn't give a picture. And the Wisdom Panel DNA test totally failed. Waste of money, it wasn't even fun to read the results, because they were so far fetched.
