Reliable Crampons for Extreme Ice and Snow
I used the Unigear crampons during a December trip to Tromsø, and they turned out to be incredibly useful in extreme winter conditions.Positives- They are very easy to put on and take off, even with cold hands or gloves.- The grip is outstanding — they handled solid ice and compact snow effortlessly, especially when trekking uphill or downhill on slopes.- I didn’t slip a single time, even at –20°C while walking across a fully frozen lake.- The spikes stayed strong and intact throughout nearly a 10 km trek; none bent or broke.- The rubber/stretch material remained flexible and did not freeze, crack, or become brittle in the cold.Negatives- You cannot walk safely on normal, ice‑free roads or indoors with these on. Surfaces like wooden floors become extremely slippery.- This means you must remove them every time you enter a café, shop, or even a toilet, otherwise you risk slipping and falling indoors.OverallFor outdoor winter trekking, these crampons are excellent and reliable. Ermüdugsfreies und sicheres Wandern auf Schnee und Eis
sehr schnelle Lieferung, gut verpackt, inkl. passendem Kunststoffbeutel. Gut anzulegen - einfach das Gummioberteil von vorne über den Schuh ziehen und hinten hochziehen (dabei bitte auf korrekten Sitz achten) und anschliessend das Klettband für seitlichen Halt stramm ziehen und schliessen.Zur praktischen Anwendung: Steile Schneehänge und Eisflächen lassen sich damit tatsächlich leicht bewältigen (kein Abrutschen nach vorne und hinten und dank Klettband auch nicht seitlich; dadurch ermüdungsfreies und sicheres Wandern - auch schräg zum Hang - möglich!). Der sichere Halt ist auch der Anzahl von 24 Spikes zu verdanken.Zur Verarbeitung: Kräftiges Gummioberteil, das sich ordentlich dehnen läßt und sicher am Schuh sitzt. Alle Spikes sind aus Stabilitätsgründen mit geprägten Sicken versehen, so daß sich kein Verbiegen ergibt

Ich habe diese Steigeisen für Wanderschuhe für eine Fototour durch Island im November gekauft, die mich von der südwestlichen bis in die südöstliche Region geführt hat. Sie haben meine Erwartungen absolut übertroffen!Die Steigeisen ließen sich problemlos an meinen Wanderschuhen und auch Gummistiefeln befestigen und hielten bombenfest, auch bei längeren Wanderungen. Trotz intensiver Nutzung blieb alles stabil und ohne Verschleißspuren.Ein besonderer Pluspunkt ist die hochwertige Verarbeitung: Das Material ist robust und scheint auch für viele weitere Abenteuer bestens gerüstet. Zudem sind sie erstaunlich leicht und kompakt, was gerade bei Reisen ein großer Vorteil ist. Sie haben problemlos in meinen Rucksack gepasst und waren schnell einsatzbereit.Ich war die gesamte Tour über völlig begeistert und fühlte mich immer sicher unterwegs – selbst bei besonders herausfordernden Bedingungen, wie vereisten Wasserfällen. Negatives gibt es aus meiner Sicht absolut nichts zu berichten.Fazit: Diese Steigeisen sind jeden Cent wert und eine klare Empfehlung für jeden, der auch in schwierigen Wetterbedingungen sicher unterwegs sein möchte. Erfüllt absolut seinen Zweck! Stabil und einfach an zu legen. Für Eis und Schnee absolut passend, nicht unbedingt für den leicht mit Raureif bedeckten Bürgersteig - da gibt es kleinere Modelle.ich hatte schon mal ein Modell davon für viele Jahre, bis ich es verloren habe...Die Ketten sind stabil, ich erwarte wieder, dass es so lange hält, bis ich es verliere.Größe beachten, meiner Freundin mit Größe 40 waren die definitiv zu groß am Schuh.

Bevor ich mich für diese Spikes entschieden habe, hatte ich etliche Rezensionen zu genau diesem Modell gelesen. Die guten Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Dazu aber gleich. Wirklich gut an diesen Spikes ist die Materialbeschaffenheit und die Robustheit. Zum Anziehen braucht es schon etwas Kraft, aber dafür sitzen sie dann auch sicher am Schuh. Meiner Meinung nach taugen diese Spikes aber nicht für den beschriebenen Einsatzzweck. Auf vereistem Untergrund sind sie gut, die Spikes pieken sich ordentlich ins Eis und bieten ausreichend Trittsicherheit. Wo sie überhaupt nicht taugen und sogar das Verletzungsrisiko erhöhen, ist, wenn man auf losem Schnee geht. Ich war mit meinen Hunden auf Gassirunde im (verschneiten) Wald unterwegs. Ca. alle 3-5 Schritte haben sich die Spikes dichtgesetzt mit eben diesen losen Schnee. Man ging dann wie auf High-Heels. Wenn man den Schnee dann nicht gleich wieder entfernt hat, drohte man umzukippen (und sich dabei zu verletzen). Wenn der Verkäufer sie zurück nimmt, gehen die heute noch wieder zurück.
Gute Spikes zum Wandern.
Nach einem relativ preiswertem Modell, welches ich vor Jahren für einen Islandurlaub kaufte. Das ich noch vor Ort entsorgte habe ich mich für meinen Norwegen Urlaub diese gekauft.Diese habe ich wieder mitgebracht!Zum Glück brauchte ich sie nur ein paar weniger Momente. Aber dann war ich froh sie zu haben. Sie sind absolut stabil und haben am Stiefel nicht gewackelt oder sind geschwommen. Die Spikes verbiegen auch nicht wenn man mal auf steinigem Untergrund läuft.Das Anlegen und Ablegen sollte vorher geübt werden. Kein Hotel, Geschäft, Laden, Retaurant oder Bus gestattet das Tragen von Spikes beim Betreten.Mir waren diese Wanderspikes eine gute Hilfe.

Très résistant, un super accessoire en alternative aux petites pointes en tungstène. Offre une très bonne stabilité sur neige, glace et terrain boueux. Plusieurs sorties de 10km+ avec dénivelés 500-600+, les crampons sont toujours en place, aucune déformation malgré mes 105kg et le caoutchouc tient bon. Facile à mettre, adapté à tout type de chaussures de marche/rando, même baskets de trail.
