Ich habe mir den Anker Nano Reiseadapter als kompakten Allrounder gekauft, da die bisherigen Reiseadapter einerseits sehr groß waren und anderseits auch schwer. Hiermit bekommt man einen Adapter für alles - egal ob USB-A, USB-C oder noch ein Stecker. Dafür ist er wirklich äußerst gut: Klein, flach, sauber verarbeitet und mit genug Anschlüssen. Allerdings ist eines zu beachten: Wärme, d.h. wenn wirklich viele Geräte versorgt werden und auch die Spannung noch im 110V Netz ist, wird er schon merklich heiß.Der Adapter ist kompakt, modern, mit den gängigsten Anschlüssen und nimmt im Gepäck keinen Platz weg. Die einklappbaren bzw. integrierten Stecker sind dabei besonders praktisch und sparen an Größe. Anschlüsse gibt es insgesamt 1x AC, 2x USB-C und 2x USB-A. Damit können de facto bis zu 5 Geräte gleichzeitig geladen werden - aber Achtung, je mehr Geräte umso langsamer und länger dauert das Aufladen. Für Hotelzimmer, Flughafen oder Kreuzfahrt perfekt, wenn er über Nacht steckt und die Geräte ladet - weil oftmals hier nur eine Steckdose verfügbar ist. Hinweis: Maximal 6 Ampere, d.h. für Laptops ist dieses Gerät eher nicht geeignet.Kleiner Trick: Zuerst nur die Handys anstecken, da jene dann schnell laden und erst danach langsame Geräte anstecken (Kameras, Smartwatches, etc.). Dadurch ergibt sich in Summe eine kürzere Ladezeit. Und es gibt kein Quick Charge 3.0 für Handys bei dem Adapter.Wichtig ist nämlich eines: Aufgrund der Größe ist der Adapter kein Hochleistungs-Gerät. Er kann einzelne USB-C Ports mit 20W laden, der zweite hat nur 15W und die USB-A liefern 12W. Außerdem wird die Ladeleistung bei mehrfachen immer geteilt und liegt in Summe bei 15W, d.h. bei 4 Geräten an den USB Ports liegt die Leistung pro Port auf 15/4 = 3,75W - dadurch dauert das Aufladen dementsprechend. Sinnvoll ist somit de facto einmal ein AC Stecker und einmal der USB-C 20W Port um auf die schnellstmögliche Weise aufzuladen.Außerdem ist zu beachten, dass es sich um keinen Spannungswandler handelt, der Adapter passt nur die Steckdosenform an und ändert nicht die Spannung (ausgenommen USB auf 5V). Die Geräte bzw. Adapter müssen deshalb selbstständig mit den verschiedenen Spannungen klar kommen - in der Regel heutzutage aber kein Problem.Integriert sind die Stecker A, C, G und I - damit es er für fast alle Länder nutzbar. Superflacher und sehr wertiger Adapter. Sehr gut geeignet für schnelles Laden von Smartphones. Die anklappbaren Stecker machen es zum idealen Reisestecker, der sich nicht in Taschen verhakt und gut verstauen lässt.

Excellent option for travelling

I waited to travel a few times before doing the review.I used to travel with several adapters, until I bought this one.It works in the majority of the countries and the added USB and USB C connections makes it a charger per se.Is quite flat so easier to use and uses less space in my luggage.In general happy with it.

I am an extremely frequent traveler and I have been using this since Summer 2025. It is an essential bit of kit as long as you know how to use it. The strength of this adapter is that it works two ways depending on your trip.Short trips: Minimalist modeFor quick weekends in the EU, I just bring this. The built-in USB ports are 20W max. That isn't "ultra-fast" by today's standards, but it is plenty to charge my phone, watch, and earbuds overnight while I sleep.Longer trips: The "Force Multiplier"For long-haul trips (like weeks in Asia), I use this as a base station. I plug my 100W Anker Prime charger (with the foldable prongs) into the top AC outlet of this Nano adapter. My 100W brick fast-charges my laptop and camera, while the Nano’s built-in ports handle my low-power gear like my travel router. It turns one hotel outlet into a massive charging station without the bulk of a power strip.The "Thick Prong" confusionI see negative reviews about "thick" EU plugs not fitting the top. This is actually a safety feature by design.What fits: Standard EU Type C (Europlug). These are the thin 4.0mm pins found on phone chargers.What doesn't fit: EU Type E/F (Schuko). These are the thick 4.8mm pins on high-wattage gear like hair dryers.Anker clearly lists the Schuko plug as non-compatible on the product page here. Because the maximum load is 6A (about 1,380W at 230V), heavy wattage devices like hairdryers are not supported. Anker physically blocks these thick prongs to prevent you from blowing a fuse or damaging the unit.First hand CompatibilityI’ve used this in Japan, Hong Kong, London, Germany, France, Nordics, Spain, and Italy. Just do your research first. In Hong Kong, for example, you can find different outlet types depending on how old the building is.
