Guter Blitz allerdings fehlen die Schrauben für den Bowensadapter. Diese musste ich für 25€ nachbestellen.
Super good pictures and easy to use
Amazing Flash which is easy to use and comes with a box to keep it secure and safe. Colors production in photos is just amazing and super bright and beautiful. I love the battery life which easily lasts me for 3 hours event shoot. I also used modelling light for videography. Price is a bit steep but I feel nothing good comes cheap.
Great lighting equipment!
Great lighting option feels sturdy and good quality. I have purchased 2 of these and looking forward the various uses and growth of my photography/videography skills.
Excellent product and customer support
One of the things I love about the AD400ProII is its built-in 30W bi-color LED modeling lamp. You can adjust the brightness from 10% to 100% and the color temperature from 2800K to 6000K. It works perfectly not only as a modeling light for the flash but also as a reliable continuous LED source when you need it.The power is seriously impressive—400Ws output, and it can fire up to 460 times at full power. It fully supports high-speed sync up to 1/8000s, along with front-curtain sync, rear-curtain sync, and even stroboscopic flash. With 10 power levels from 1/512 all the way to 1/1, you get really precise control over your flash intensity depending on what you’re shooting.Another huge plus is the dual mount design—it supports both Godox mount and Bowens mount accessories. That means it works with tons of modifiers, like the new UL series softboxes and the ML-GB adapter. Honestly, I can’t recommend this light enough!
Good Battery improvement and quick wireless sync feature
My first thought when I got this light was to check the battery. Before buying this product, I noticed issues with the first-gen AD400Pro that related to the battery. For this second generation model's battery, it’s clearly been upgraded. The activation button is larger and more noticeable, and there are even instructions on how to maintain the battery properly. Good improvement! This AD400Pro II comes with Godox’s built-in 2.4G wireless X system and supports wireless sync, making it super easy to quickly sync with Godox X3 triggers with just one press. It remains compatible with other Godox 2.4G X system transmitters. Another handy feature is the 16-color group indicators—make it effortless to identify and manage different light groups, whether you’re working with multi-light setups or shooting from a distance.
Incredible if you don't already have an AD400, but 50/50 on an upgrade if you do.
Incredible flash with good incremental upgrades from the version 1. For the TL:DR owners of the original AD400pro, no this thing doesn't make yours obsolete, though the small upgrades are pretty cool :) This might be new, but Godox provides you with a keychain and a Godox Ox figurine now and they are absolutely adorable. I want more :)It wasn't long ago that I did a review of the AD400 and was really happy with it. Despite owning a few ad600's, the AD400 actually found a place in the kit and has been wonderful as both a main light and a fill light. The size is the big factor on how great it is, as you can fit this, along with a few modifiers including a focused snoot in a smaller shoulder bag like the Think Tank Darklight 14L. Being able to use full size bowen based modifiers with a small easy to store ring adapter is also great. I actually suggest getting the Godox ML-GB adapters as you get 2 of them, and you can easily just leave them on your modifier and it lets the ad400 keep it's svelte slim profile.Testing the AD400pro II alongside the the AD400pro, the version 2 doesn't do anything worst that takes away that initial impression the original AD400 gave. I tried the version 2 with Canon/Fuji/Sony/Nikon cameras using both TTL and Manual and their respective X3 or IT30 triggers and found the light to recycle fast and the results consistent. Battery power, despite Godox saying you get more shots with the version 2, seems consistent between the two. There might be a few more pops with the version 2, but nothing dramatic. The screen on the version II is a LOT easier to read. Clarity and viewing angle is great, and being able to see a color on the side to confirm which channel it's on is nice. TTL was quick and easy, and using TCM to go to manual for consistency worked just fine across all the platforms. Changing settings to the version 2 on the triggers was consistent, simple and quick. Didn't have any misfires on any of the systems. Power levels are the same, though the AD400 version 2 does let you go to 1/512 the power, which is useful for shallow DOF flash photography.Modelling light is a nice upgrade from the version 1 as it lets you adjust WB now and looks cool for video, though the fan turns on and it's pretty annoying sounding. The same fan sound came on the version 1 also, but that's limited to daylight wb I believe.Physically the version 2 is actually slightly smaller height wise over the version 1. You wouldn't notice it until you sat them side by side. The new battery does have a bigger button to check power levels, which is actually nicer than you would expect. The old one was a test of patience. For those who this impact, there is a very nice improvement to max fastest flash duration from the version 1 at 1/12820th to just 1/27770th on the version 2. While this isn't going to impact a huge base of users, I personally know a few macro and motion oriented photographers who would salivate at this small upgrade. Is it worth the upgrade from the version 1? I would say only if the AD400pro version 1 is making money for you and you have money to burn. The upgrades are nice on the version 2, and the new color screen and interface that Godox is using is really nice if you haven't experienced it on their other systems yet, but the version 2 doesn't do anything immediate that makes it a worthy must get upgrade. The fringe stuff like faster flash duration, and the ability to go to super low power is nice but also very niche for probably most people. A nice improvement is the modelling light, it's pretty strong at 30w and could even be strong enough to be the main light for video work for something like wedding detail shooting, macro work, or shallow DOF portrait work. Being able to fine tune the white balance on it is a win.
