    The light was easy to fit and the head is easy to move through a wide arc to get the best light coverage. The option of three brightness settings is helpful - I use the middle to ensure my neighbours opposite are not affected. The charge appears to last a long time - I’ve yet to need to recharge from the initial one. Overall I’m really pleased with this product and I would be to recommend to anybody as good value for money.

    This light arrives in corrugated cardboard box with a line drawing and descriptive text on the top and sides. In the box the various components are wrapped in polythene bags and sit in a deep polystyrene base and top. The cardboard and polythene are recyclable where we live, but not all local authorities recycle polythene. Sadly the polystyrene will end up in landfill.The light carries some weight due to the 10000mAh rechargeable battery. Other than that the structure is ABS and PC plastic, presenting a lightweight structure, requiring just one simple plastic bracket and 2 screws to support it. The light simply slides into the bracket thus is easily removable for recharging. The plastic has a fine texture finish presenting a satin look, the style modern industrial minimalist. There is a push button to manually operate the light and change settings. A TV style remote control is also supplied (2xAAA batteries required) to permit remote operation and setting. The lamp head is adjustable but only with rotation. It is stiff to rotate and does hold its set position. Despite the limited movement it works surprisingly well in setting the light coverage.Charging time is stated at 8 to 10 hours which may seem excessive. However, run time on this lamp is given as up to 120 days depending on the setting. That means it probably will need charging maybe 4 times a year. I think I can live with the charging time, especially considering the charging input is listed as 5V - 2A, which is the older style phone charger.Feature that sets this light apart are the three colour settings and varying intensities available. In addition the option of motion activation or dusk 'til dawn is a useful feature as well as the full manual override. This elevates this light, in my opinion, to architectural lighting rather than a normal garden or pathway light.At £39.99 (March 2026) I personally do not think it overpriced.
