    Lieferung und Versand:Der Feeder wurde schnell und ohne Schäden von Amazon versandt und zugestellt.Verpackung und Inhalt der Sendung:Die Verpackung kommt kompakt daher. Im Karton ist alles enthalten, was es für den Aufbau und die Montage in diversen Varianten benötigt, was dafür sorgt, dass man den Einsatz direkt starten kann.Konkret:Montage an der Hauswand (Bohrvorlage, Schrauben, Dübel) oder an einem Rohr/einer Stange etc. (Schellen).Lediglich wenn man wie wir das Vogelhaus an einem Erdspieß befestigen möchte, ist dieser natürlich nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten. Passende Schellen liefert Birdfy aber mit.Das Vogelhaus und die Halterungen wirken im Vergleich zum Vogelhaus von Birdfy etwas weniger wertig, passt hier aber auch zum Preis.Anleitung und Aufbau:Die Anleitung ist kurz, aber ausreichend. Das Erklärvideo in der Birdfy-App führt durch die wichtigen Installationsschritte und lässt keine Fragen offen.Der Aufbau ist einfach - es sind nur noch 2 kleine Halterungen einzusetzen und die Kamera zu platzieren.Anwendung und erste Erfahrungen:Wir haben einen Garten, in dem auch vorher schon gefüttert und somit schon gut von Vögeln besucht wurde, unter anderem mit einem Feeder von Birdfy. Dieser Feeder von Birdfy wurde von den Gartenvögeln sehr schnell als sehr beliebte, weitere Futterquelle angenommen, was dafür sorgte, dass direkt viele Aufnahmen entstanden.Das Fassungsvermögen für Futter ist erstaunlich groß, trotz der kleinen Ausführung.Wenn man Vogelbeobachtung als Hobby hat und eine kleinere Lösung sucht, ist dieser Feeder eine wahre Freude. Die Kamera hat eine hervorragende Qualität, der Akku reicht völlig aus und das Solarpanel sorgt für genügend Strom, auch bei schlechtem Wetter.Hinweis:Wir haben die Sensibilität der Kamera niedriger eingestellt, da die Kamera auch Bewegungen im Hintergrund sehr häufig aufnimmt und entsprechende Fehlmeldungen auslöst.Kleiner Nachteil:Im Birdfy Base Feeder 2 sind Lüftungsschlitze unter der Futterauffang-Vorrichtung vorhanden, diese fehlen hier - das kann bei schlechtem Wetter zu Futterstau und ggfs. Fäule führen.Birdfy-Abo:Das gratis Lifetime-Abo ist eine saubere Ergänzung, was das Paket gut abrundet.Preis:Der Preis ist in Vergleich zu anderen Artikeln in diesem Segment angemessen.Fazit:Der Feeder ist eine gute Einstiegsversion und/oder für kleiner Gärten oder als Ergänzung eine wahre Freude.Es ist robust und das Set aus Vogelhaus, Kamera, Solarpanel und Befestigungen ist gut durchdacht und liefert ein gutes Rundum-Paket.

    Unkompliziert & gute Bilder - Was will man mehr?

    Ersteindruck: hochwertiges Material, sehr gute Verarbeitung. Das Kameragehäuse ist allerdings nicht aus Holz.Der Aufbau ist schnell erledigt, die Aufhängung scheint inzwischen standardisiert zu sein (gleiche Teile wie beim Birdfy Nest). Die Einrichtung per App ist intuitiv, gut geführt und v.a. für Besitzer von anderen Birdfy-Produkten schnell abgeschlossen.Im Garten aufgestellt wurde der Feeder schnell angenommen. Die Kamera liefert gute Bilder und das ist ja schließlich das wichtigste, oder? Die Erkennung der Vogelarten war bisher sehr gut (nur eine einzige Fehlbestimmung von gut 100 Momenten: Kohlmeise statt Blaumeise).Einziger Kritikpunkt: Das Solarpanel ist fest mit dem Feeder verbunden. Es ist zwar dreh- und schwenkbar, kann aber nicht gänzlich separat vom eigentlich Feeder aufgestellt werden, wie bei anderen Birdfy-Produkten. Anfangs hatte ich dewegen Sorge, dass die Ladeleistung deswegen nicht reichen könnte, weil der Aufstellort bei mir fast die ganze Zeit im Schatten liegt. Diese Sorge hat sich allerdings (zumindest jetzt im Frühling) als unbegründet erwiesen, es gab bis jetzt keine energiebedingten Ausfälle. Wie das im Winter aussieht, bleibt abzuwarten.Fazit: Optisch ansprechendes & unkompliziertes rundum-sorglos-Paket für den schnellen Einstieg in die Vogelbeobachtung, das gute Aufnahmenvon zuverlässig erkannten Vogelarten liefert.

    Absoluter Volltreffer – Naturbeobachtung auf dem nächsten Level!​Ich habe das smarte Vogelhaus von Birdfy nun im Einsatz und bin restlos begeistert. Hier wurde wirklich an alles gedacht.​Was mir besonders gefällt:​Rundum-Sorglos-Paket: Im Lieferumfang ist alles enthalten, was man für den Start braucht. Besonders praktisch ist das mitgelieferte Solarpanel. Einmal montiert, lädt es den Akku der Kamera zuverlässig auf – lästiges Abmontieren zum Laden entfällt komplett.​Hervorragende Qualität: Das Gehäuse aus Echtholz macht einen sehr wertigen und stabilen Eindruck (siehe Fotos). Es fügt sich optisch perfekt in den Garten ein und ist massiv gebaut.​Durchdachtes Design: Ein riesiger Pluspunkt ist die Wartungsfreundlichkeit. Wenn das Vogelhaus gereinigt werden muss, lässt es sich komplett werkzeuglos zerlegen. Das spart Zeit und Nerven.​Smarte Technik: Die Software ist intuitiv und kinderleicht zu konfigurieren. Der absolute "Hit" ist jedoch die automatische Vogel-Erkennung. Man bekommt eine Benachrichtigung auf das Handy und weiß sofort, welcher gefiederte Gast gerade zu Besuch ist.​Kabelmanagement: Wie man auf meinen Bildern sieht, sind sogar kleine Clips dabei, um die Kabel sauber und sicher am Gehäuse zu führen.​Fazit:​Ob für Kinder, die etwas über die Natur lernen wollen, oder für Senioren, die sich an den täglichen Besuchen erfreuen – dieses Vogelhaus ist das ideale Geschenk für alle Altersgruppen.​Qualität, Technik und Naturerlebnis sind hier perfekt vereint.     Genialer Futterspender!

    Seit etwa einem Monat haben wir den Birdfy Feeder Wood bei uns im Garten im Einsatz.Der Feeder ist modular aufgebaut, man kann ihn fast komplett zerlegen (z. B. zwecks Reinigung).Die Platte, auf der das Futter dargeboten wird, ist perforiert, sodass es auch nach einem Wolkenbruch schnell wieder abtrocknet.Das Futter im Silo bleibt dank des überstehenden Daches trocken und rutscht problemlos nach. Das Solarpanel auf dem Dach des Feeders ist (in Grenzen) schwenk- und klappbar, sodass man es eigentlich an jedem Ort in Richtung Sonne ausrichten kann. Auch schon im März erzeugte es genügend Energie, um die Kamera jeden Tag auf 100% zu laden. Sollte dies im Winter mal nicht der Fall sein, kann man die Kamera sehr einfach abmontieren (sie ist aufgesteckt und per USB-C mit dem Solarpanel verbunden) und im Haus aufladen.Die Montage ist sehr einfach und quasi überall möglich - Montagematerial (Schrauben, Dübel, Metallschellen) liegt bei. Man montiert die Halterung dort, wo man sie gern hätte, und hängt dann das Futterhäuschen einfach ein. Wir haben es mit Hilfe der Schellen am Zaun befestigt.Die Verbindung mit dem W-Lan erfolgt problemlos per App - man wird durch den Vorgang geleitet und hat sein Häuschen in Nullkommanix im Netz.Die lebenslange KI-Erkennung ist noch ein kleiner Pluspunkt, sie ist wirklich sehr akkurat. Und sollten in einem Videoausschnitt mehrere Vögel auftauchen, werden alle erkannt und zusätzlich auf einem Foto festgehalten.Auch toll: man kann die Videos - und den Spaß - problemlos mit Freunden und Familie teilen, so haben noch mehr Menschen Freude an unseren kleinen Gartenmitbewohnern.Der einzige (kleine) Kritikpunkt: Die Futteröffnung ist recht groß, und nicht jeder Gartenvogel versteht, dass er besser auf dem Rand und nicht im Futter sitzen sollte...Fazit: Die Vögel - und wir - sind begeistert!

    Das Produkt gefällt mir bisher sehr gut ... KI-Vogelerkennung ohne Abo ... das ganze Paket für 120 EuroEs hat sich auch gut ins Netzwerk eingebunden.Die Videos sind qualitativ wirklich gut.Die Konstruktion ist grundsätzlich solide. Nur die locker aufliegende Metallbodenplatte ist etwas nervig.Wenn man das Vogelhaus transportieren will, sollte man - was eigentlich intuitiv wäre - NICHT unten anpacken, sondern am Dach oder an den Seiten .. ansonsten löst man die Platte und ggf. eingefülltes Futter fällt heraus.Ansonsten wäre ein Hinweis darauf sinnvoll, dass bei diesem Modell die Download-Funktionen der App nicht funktionieren.Leider gibt es bei diesem Modell keinen Nachtmodus. Leider wird dies beim Angebot nicht richtig beschrieben.Dies führt zum Abzug eines Sterns ( zum Glück sind die Vögel selten nachtaktiv ). Trotzdem ärgerlich ....

    Durchdachtes Design und einfache Inbetriebnahme

    Das Futterhaus kam gut verpackt und mit allem notwendigen Zubehör. Die Inbetriebnahme der Kamera funktionierte ohne Probleme innerhalb von 2 Minuten. Um den Wetterschutz zu verbessern, habe ich das Futterhaus vor dem Aufhängen mit einem BIO-Holzwachs behandelt und werde dies regelmäßig wiederholen. Nach dem Aufhängen hat es zwei Tage gedauert, bis unsere Gartenvögel das Haus entdeckt haben. Jetzt erfreuen wir uns an den regelmäßigen Besuchen und den tollen Aufnahmen. Die WLAN-Reichweite ist gut. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung!

    I just set up my new wood bird feeder and am very happy with my purchase. This is my second Birdfy feeder and I really like their products.I attached it to a fence board using the mounting bracket. The feeder sits a little loose on the bracket, especially with the top open, so I slipped a carpenter’s door shim behind it and it tightened up nicely.I really like the natural wood finish. I would definitely recommend spraying or painting the wood parts with urethane or another exterior surface protector to keep it looking nice.Setting up the camera was fairly straightforward, the device and the app lead you through the process nicely. The camera is great. Nice clear pictures day and night and the AI bird Identification (an option I highly recommend) is amazing! After using it for a week in partly cloudy weather, the battery is at 90% so I expect the solar panel will keep it charged well enough.One gotcha I discovered when I bought my first BirdFy two years ago. If your WiFi has a password that contains spaces, the device will not connect and won’t give you any clues as to why. Fortunately, with the help of Birdfy’s tech support, I was able to find out the problem. Rather than change my router password for everything else in the house, I chose to set up a different network with a password the app could work with. I verified that this problem persists with the new unit. A word to the wise.The Birdfy app is very usable and customizable. Like everything else these days it needs you to set up an account to access services. But the services (no additional cost) are worth it. Their monthly Recap and Highlight summaries are a good way to see all the different species it captured. And you can browse shared videos from other users’ cameras in their Community. Lots of fun!In conclusion, it’s a fine feeder with excellent video and bird identification capabilities at a fair price for all you get. And the birds love it.If you’re into birdwatching, get one!

    A Bird Got Trapped Inside!

    A Bird Got Stuck Inside!I actually loved this feeder for about a week. It was easy to set up. The birds came to it pretty immediately. The solar charging panel appears to work well The camera takes pretty fantastic pictures and videos. However, a bird got trapped inside the hopper part of the feeder! I was shocked to see the poor thing frantically trying to get out but there was no way he could. He had squeezed himself into the feeder between the plexiglass and the bottom opening where the birdseed comes out. He was trapped and would’ve died if I hadn’t been at home when this happened. I’ve emailed the company bc they weren’t taking phone calls. Hopefully they will get back to me with some sort of resolution. I don’t feel comfortable using the feeder knowing what could happen. I want to feed the birds not trap them.

    This feeder has transformed my backyard into a bird sanctuary. The natural fir wood blends in beautifully with thetrees, so the birds were comfortable visiting almost immediately.     Ok I just set this up and put it out a few hours ago and I’m amazed at the quality. Easy to connect and setup. Light years ahead of my 2 year old camera from another manufacturer. The perch is small which is good for the small birds but I’ve already had crows awkwardly land on it. For the price it’s solid. Great gift idea. Like I said, it’s just day 1, but so far so good.
