An excellent blood pressure monitor with 1-lead ECG function
An excellent blood pressure monitor with 1-lead ECG function. You can use the monitor only for blood pressure without the App, but for ECG, you need the Omron Connect App on your smartphone. First, install the batteries on the device, then download and install the Omron Connect App, then create an account with username and password, then open the App with Bluetooth activated, then switch on the Omron device, then register the device FROM WITHIN the Omron Connect App. Do NOT register the device from within the smartphone's Bluetooth feature; it won't work. Every time you use the device, you open the Omron Connect App with Bluetooth activated and start the blood pressure and/or ECG measurement. You can perform blood pressure alone, blood pressure + ECG, or ECG alone measurements. For blood pressure alone, you push the start/stop button and wait for the completion. For blood pressure + ECG, you start the ECG function in the Omron Connect App, then immediately after push the start/stop button on the device, then you immediately touch the device electrodes and stay still until BOTH the blood pressure and ECG measurements are over, because these measurements have different completion durations. For ECG alone, you start the ECG function from the Omron Connect App, then wait until full completion of the measurement. In my case, the ECG function detected several tachycardia events that I reported to my physician. Read the manual carefully before any use.This device is guaranteed 5 years and the manufacturer recommends replacing it after 5 years. The cuff, however, depending on the actual use, needs to be replaced more often, typically once a year or every 2 years. The original cuff compatible with this device is the Omron cuff model HEM-RML31, which is not a recent cuff model, and therefore not easily available as replacement. Depending your usage, you may want to anticipate and buy a few replacement cuffs covering that 5-year operation period recommended by the manufacturer.

I love it. Handling of the device is really easy and intuitive. It was a excellent choice to buy it especially when I connect it with the app Omron connect.The only thing bothering me is the long connection time between the app and device.

Das Gerät erfüllt seinen Zweck und ist einfach zu bedienen.Auspacken, Batterien einlegen, fertig. Batterien halten bei mir jetzt seit 4 Wochen bei 4 Messungen täglich.Wenn man die Blutdruckmeßwerte auf das Handy übertragen will, kann man es über Bluetooth und einer kostenfreien App koppeln.Die App ist nach etwas Einarbeitung nützlich und übersichtlich. Es werden Grafiken erstellt, Blutdruck- und Herzfrequenzwerte gespeichert und übersichtliche Statistiken dargestellt, die man vermutlich irgendwie auch ausdrucken oder versenden kann (letzteres hab ich noch nicht probiert).Die EKG-Funktion ist nur mit gekoppeltem Handy möglich. Die Stärke des registrierten Körpersignals, das über vier Elektroden am Gehäuse an den Fingern für ca. 30 Sekunden abgenommen wird, wird auf dem Display des Handys angezeigt. Bei meinen Fingern habe ich nur einen von drei möglichen Balken, meine Frau hat alle 3 Signalbalken. Ist wohl auch etwas von der Hautbeschaffenheit abhängig.Die App wertet die gemessenen Daten zu Blutdruck und Herzfrequenz aus, indem es sich an ärztlichen Referenzwerten orientiert, und gibt diese Auswertung in der App bekannt.Der Blutdruckwert und die Herzfrequenz werden aber auch auf dem Display des Gerätes angezeigt und man kann sich dies auch notieren, wenn man will. Die EKG-Funktion wird nur auf dem Handy angezeigt, nicht auf dem Display des Meßgeräts.Fehler beim Messen, wie Körperbewegungen oder eine unsachgemäß angelegte Manschette, erkennt das Gerät und liefert im Display eine Fehlermeldung mit entsprechendem Hinweis.Der Preis klingt zwar erstmal etwas hoch, aber Qualität hat nun mal ihren Preis.Ich kann das Gerät nach meinen Erfahrungen nur empfehlen. Es ist zuverlässig und kinderleicht zu bedienen.

Works as intended, even if there a few limitations and issues with the sent accessories
Besides the bad shipping experience that was in no part amazons fault given the next day shipping and arrival to my house, the device came to me in pristine condition and only the accessory bag came with a few frayed edges on account of it being very cheap but that's not a deterrent.I do have some disparaging remarks for Omrons implementation of their software as the device itself works wonderfully as in intended but the only software available is of mobile origin and the only way to get the readings from the device into a usable pdf or sent directly to a medical specialist, there's also the fact this is the only device that you can't wipe the readings from without wiping the entire device including pairing information meaning this device is single user only as every time you connect with a new device it will pull all new readings that it did not get up to it's last use. (IE: if 2 people use the device with 2 different phones both phones will get both persons readings and have to manually delete the ones that aren't theirs as this is not a multi user device nor has the option to wipe previous readings as it is technically "single user").The alternative to getting the readings out is to manually write it down on paper or on an application provided by your medical specialist if you do not wish to use the omron one but in that case you will not have ECG feature from the device as it requires a mobile phone for detection.And while not officially support there's an open source program for the desktop called UBPM (Universal Blood Pressure Manager, it's a forked from the old Omron Blood Pressure Manager) on codeberg.com(git hosting website) and it's technically not officially supported yet(by the developers and requires a workaround) and not user friendly and does not contain the ability to pull out ECG information but it will pull out all the readings from the device and generate pdf graphs with all desired readings making it much easier for multi user support.Keep in mind that all the negatives I've said do not impact the performance of the device or it's accuracy(hence the 5 star review and not lower) it is without a doubt one of the more accurate single user friendly devices out there home users not account previous omron models, and any and all cosmetic damages in the pictures are caused by the user with the exception of the bag that came frayed from initial purchase, the durability score will be updated in the following month after some more daily use.

Après plusieurs appareils bon marché donnant des résultats exotiques parfois, j'ai choisi cette marque utilisée par mon généralise et cardiologue. Il ne faut pas, à mon sens, faire d'économie de bout de chandelle quand il s'agit de contrôler notre état physique. L'application est claire, les exportations de résultats aisée. J'ai aussi la balance de la même marque.Coup de gueule sur l'emballage, ou plutôt justement l'absence d'emballage ni même le moindre scotch pour sceller le paquet ! Cela devient une habitude chez certains vendeurs et que l'on ne me dise pas que c'est pour le bien de la planète. Les arbres servant à faire de la pâte à papier sont généralement des essences sans valeur que l'on coupe pour aérer les forêts , permettre aux essences "nobles" de croitre et éviter aussi les feux de forêts ... C'est donc surtout une économie pour les commerçants, comme d'habitude.

Mi primera adquisición fue el modelo M3 para 2 usuarios, después compré el X4 Smart Bluetooth y ahora este.El M3 lo compré para mi madre en 2018 y con un uso intensivo aún hoy está como nuevo, es increible que ni el manguito se ha deteriorado. Cuando compré este último dispositivo hicimos una prueba de los 3 modelos y ajorran lecturas idénticas. La fecha de compra de este último fue en febrero de 2025. Elegí esta marca por haberla visto en la consulta de varios médicos mucho antes de necesitar controlarme la presión arterial....pensé que si ellos como profesionales lo usaban debería ser fiable.
