Einfache Bedienung, super Video- und Soundaufnahmen, Top-Qualität, tolle PTZ-Kamera!
Ich mache regelmäßig Fortbildungen und nehme an Besprechungen teil, bei der eine gute Kameraqualität das A und O ist, um Erfolg zu haben. Selbstredend müssen zunächst Mal die Fachkenntnisse und andere Skills da sein, doch wenn die Grundvoraussetzung, das heißt ein gutes Bild, nicht vorliegt, verlieren Teilnehmer schnell das Interesse. In dieser Hinsicht ist diese PTZ-Kamera ein echter Gamechanger - doch der Reihe nach.Die Optik der Kamera ist zeitlos modern, ordentlich und hübsch anzusehen. Das ist nicht der Hauptaugenmerk, nichtsdestotrotz arbeitet man bekanntermaßen lieber mit Geräten, die einen ansprechen. Die Oberfläche ist schön glatt. Wenn sich also mit der Zeit etwas Staub auf die Kamera ablegen, kann man diese schnell mit einem weichen Tuch wegwischen.Die Verwendung der Kamera ist verhältnismäßig einfach. Ich empfehle nichtsdestotrotz die Bedienungsanleitung zu lesen, wenn man sich unsicher ist. Man stellt die Kamera am gewünschten Standort auf, schließt den Strom ans Netz sowie den USB Anschluss an Laptop oder Computer an und kann dann direkt in die gängigen Videokonferenz-Programme streamen. Die coolste Funktion der Kamera ist meiner Meinung nach das Autotracking. Oft muss ich mich bei Konferenzen bewegen, um etwa Teile der Präsentation herauszuarbeiten oder zu demonstrieren. Die Kamera folgt mir und ich bleibe immer im Fokus. Sehr praktisch!Auch die Bildqualität ist super. Sowohl große Räume wie etwa Sitzungssäle, aber auch das heimische Arbeitszimmer können hinein- und herausgezoomt werden, ohne sichtbar an Bildqualität zu verlieren. Hierdurch bleibt das Bild immer scharf, was die Qualität der Videokonferenz insgesamt erhöht. Niemand mag ein unscharfes Bild im Videochat und nebenbei ist das auch sehr unprofessionell. Die Kamera löst das Problem elegant.Die Kamera verfügt jedoch nicht nur über eine sehr gute Bildqualität, sondern auch das Audio ist hervorragend. Bei Testaufnahmen habe ich meinen eigenen Sound im Vorfeld geprüft, um zu wissen, wie ich bei Besprechungen zu hören bin. Dabei war der Sound immer kristallklar und gut verständlich.Wer möchte, kann die Kamera auch auf einen passenden Standfuß setzen. Das ist praktisch, insbesondere dann, wenn der Raum aufgrund der Gegebenheiten keine andere Position für die Kamera ermöglicht. Wenn die Kamera mir bei Bewegung durch das Autotracking folgt, läuft alles sehr sanft ab. Der Standfuß wackelt in diesem Fall nicht im Geringsten.Die Verarbeitungsqualität der PTZ-Kamera ist exzellent. Mir sind keinerlei Mängel in der Funktion oder in den verwendeten Materialien aufgefallen. Die Kamera überzeugt durch ein intelligentes Design, eine intuitive und einfache Bedienung und beste Sound- und Videoqualität. Das Autotracking ist richtig cool und sehr praktisch. Ich bin vollends überzeugt worden und kann die Kamera uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
Überzeugende Bildqualität und guter Funktionsumfang. Autofokus ausbaufähig.
Ich habe bereits einen Vorgänger dieser Kamera im Einsatz und die hervorragende optische Qualität dieser Kamera steht dieser in nichts nach. Das war bereits bei der damaligen 1080p Version schon eine positive Überraschung, und auch an dieser 4K Version habe ich diesbezüglich nichts auszusetzen... mit einer Ausnahme: dass sämtliche Auflösungsstufen auf 30 fps begrenzt sind, ist etwas schade. Der Vorgänger hat zumindest Full HD in 60 fps geboten.Neu bei dieser Version ist der "AI"-Modus, eine automatische Sprecherverfolgung auf Basis von Gesichtserkennung. Grundsätzlich arbeitet dieser einwandfrei, leider aber nur mit einer spürbaren Einschränkung: Die Funktion zoomt immer weit heraus, und sobald sie aktiv ist, sind die Zoomtasten grundsätzlich funktionslos. Wer gerne nur den Kopf auf einer bestimmten Zoomstufe verfolgen möchte, wird leider enttäuscht.Die Preset-Funktion wiederum ist gut und intuitiv gelöst: Mit einem Druck auf die PRESET-Taste und anschließend einer Zifferntaste lassen sich Voreinstellungen speichern, die beim späteren Abrufen über einfachen Druck der jeweiligen Zifferntaste nicht nur die Kameraausrichtung, sondern auch Zoom- und Fokuseinstellungen wiederherstellen.Leider fällt der Autofokus etwas aus dem positiven Gesamteindruck. Dieser versagt vor allem bei Nahaufnahmen regelmäßig. Die Naheinstelldistanz, also der Mindestabstand von Linse bis Objekt, bei dem die Kamera scharfstellen kann, ist generell leider ziemlich groß, besonders bei den höheren Vergrößerungen. Ein 40 cm entferntes Objekt lässt sich zwar mit zehnfachem Zoom formatfüllend abbilden, aber scharf stellen kann der Autofokus es nicht. Auch bei niedrigeren Zoomstufen scheitert er an nahen Motiven, selbst in Situationen, wo eine manuelle Scharfstellung über die NEAR-Taste problemlos möglich ist.Die Verwendung von USB-3.0-Typ-B-Anschlüssen ist etwas, mit dem ich mich noch nie so recht anfreunden konnte. Die Kabel sind relativ schwer zu bekommen und verhältnismäßig teuer, wenn auch etwas robuster als USB-C. Auch finde ich, dass die Stromversorgung, die zwingend über ein 12V/1A-Netzteil erfolgen muss, heutzutage durch USB-C PD eleganter zu lösen wäre. Die 12 Watt wären problemlos sogar über USB-A erreichbar, und dann könnte man die Kamera bei Bedarf z.B. direkt an einer Powerbank betreiben, ohne weitere Adapter zu benötigen.
Erstklassiges Set
Ich fange mal mit dem einzigen Punkt an, der mich kurz zum Überlegen gebracht hat, ob ich 5 Sterne vergeben will und das ist der Motor für die horizontale Bewegung.Der Grund hierfür ist, wie dieser Motor gesteuert wird und "anspringt", wenn er muss, denn das ist die einzige "Schwäche", wenn man so will, da es dadurch zu leichten Verzögerungen kommen kann, was dann die Kamera bzw. der Autofokus wieder auffangen, aber ich bin mir halt nicht sicher, ob der Motor lange durchhält, wenn er jeden Tag mehrfach stark beansprucht wird, also wenn das System z.B. wirklich auf Veranstaltungen zum Einsatz kommen soll.Ansonsten ist alles einwandfrei, sowohl die Verarbeitung beider Gehäuse, als auch die Anschlüsse, alles passgenau und sicher, dem durchaus stattlichen Preis also angemessen, weswegen allerdings der LAN-Port eigentlich schneller sein sollte.Beim Sound wird man nie alle Nutzer gleichermaßen überzeugen können, schon allein auf Grund der Tatsache, dass nicht jeder das System in einem nahezu identischen Raum nutzen (können) wird.Wer "Hi-Fi" erwartet, ist hier falsch, das kann kein System dieser Art leisten, vor allem nicht zu diesem Preis, denn dafür wären andere Gehäuse, Lautsprecher und Mikrofone nötig.Dieses System ist ein Arbeits-System, für Firmen mit mehreren Standorten, oder solchen, die mit ihren Außendienstmitarbeitern in höchst möglicher Qualität kommunizieren wollen, was man auch schon daran erkennen kann, dass sowohl PoE, als auch ein direkter Anschluss für eine Stromversorgung vorhanden sind.Bei gleichzeitiger Nutzung von HDMI und LAN ist mir bei schnellen Bewegungen ein minimaler Versatz aufgefallen, im Alltag dürfte das aber kaum ins Gewicht fallen.Alles in Allem ein gutes System, zu einem ordentlichen Preis.

Starke PTZ Konferenzkamera, gutes Tracking, aber Setup ist kein Plug & Play
Ich habe die TONGVEO PTZ Konferenzkamera geholt, weil ich für Meetings und kleine Live Streams eine Kamera wollte, die selbst mitgeht und nicht nur starr filmt. Der erste Eindruck ist ordentlich. Die Kamera wirkt stabil und „professionell genug“. Das Bild ist bei gutem Licht wirklich scharf und klar. 4K sieht man schon, vor allem wenn man später zuschneidet oder reinzoomt.Der 20 fach optische Zoom ist ein echtes Plus. Damit kommt man auch in größeren Räumen nah an Personen ran, ohne dass es sofort matschig wird. Das Auto Tracking funktioniert bei mir meistens gut. Es folgt einer Person und hält sie im Bild. Es ist nicht perfekt wie im TV Studio, aber für Kirche, Vorträge oder Meetings macht es einen guten Job. Das integrierte Speakerphone und Mikrofon sind praktisch, wenn man schnell starten will. Für kleine Räume reicht das. In großen Räumen würde ich trotzdem extra Mikrofone nehmen, weil der Ton sonst irgendwann dünn wird.Was man nicht unterschätzen darf, ist die Einrichtung. Es gibt viele Anschlüsse und Möglichkeiten, was an sich super ist. USB, HDMI, LAN, PoE. Aber genau das macht es auch etwas komplizierter. Man muss einmal verstehen, was man wie nutzen will. Bei mir hat es ein bisschen gedauert, bis alles so eingestellt war, wie ich es wollte. Und Tracking reagiert auch anders, je nachdem wie viele Leute im Bild sind und wie das Licht ist. Wenn mehrere Personen rumlaufen, kann sie auch mal kurz „überlegen“.Positiv:Sehr gutes Bild bei gutem Licht und 4K ist sichtbar.Optischer Zoom ist stark und bleibt dabei brauchbar.Auto Tracking ist im Alltag hilfreich und spart Kamera Bedienung.Viele Anschlüsse, dadurch flexibel für Streaming und Meetings.PoE ist praktisch, wenn man sauber verkabeln will.Negativ:Setup braucht Zeit, nicht einfach anschließen und fertig.Tracking ist nicht immer perfekt, vor allem mit vielen Leuten im Bild.Ton ist okay, aber in großen Räumen eher zu wenig ohne extra Mikrofone.Bei schlechtem Licht leidet die Qualität schneller, wie bei fast allen Kameras.Fazit:Für mich ist die TONGVEO eine starke PTZ Kamera, wenn man Zoom, Auto Tracking und flexible Anschlüsse braucht. Sie ist kein Spielzeug, aber man muss sich auch ein bisschen reinfuchsen. Wenn man das Setup einmal sauber gemacht hat, läuft sie im Alltag richtig gut für Meetings und Live Streaming.
Mega Tracking, enorme Flexibilität – professionelle Lösung mit System
Ich habe bereits drei Tongveo Kameras im Einsatz, daher konnte ich die 4K KI PTZ Kamera direkt in ein bestehendes Setup integrieren. Das ist kein Einsteigergerät, sondern klar auf professionelle Anwendungen ausgelegt.Die Bildqualität ist auf sehr hohem Niveau. 4K liefert ein scharfes, detailreiches Bild, auch bei größeren Räumen. Der 20 fach optische Zoom ist kein Marketinggag, sondern wirklich nutzbar. Selbst bei weiter Entfernung bleiben Gesichter und Details klar erkennbar, ohne das typische digitale Zerfallen.Das KI Auto Tracking funktioniert zuverlässig. Bewegungen werden sauber erkannt, Personen werden stabil verfolgt, ohne hektische Schwenks. Gerade bei Vorträgen, Gottesdiensten oder hybriden Meetings ist das ein enormer Mehrwert. Man braucht keinen Kameramann mehr, der permanent nachführt.Anschlussseitig ist die Kamera extrem flexibel. USB 3.0 für einfache Plug and Play Nutzung am Rechner, HDMI für Direktanbindung an Mischer oder Encoder, LAN inklusive PoE für saubere Installation ohne zusätzliches Netzteil. In professionellen Umgebungen spart das Verkabelungsaufwand und erhöht die Betriebssicherheit.Das integrierte Speakerphone mit Mikrofon ist solide. Für kleinere Räume absolut ausreichend. In größeren Setups würde ich dennoch separate Audiotechnik bevorzugen, aber als All in One Lösung für Besprechungsräume ist es durchdacht.Die Verarbeitung entspricht dem, was ich von Tongveo kenne. Robustes Gehäuse, präzise Motoren, ruhige und gleichmäßige Schwenk und Neigebewegungen. Keine ruckartigen Übergänge, kein hörbares Knacken.Für Streaming, Kirche, Konferenzraum oder Schulung ist das eine sehr leistungsfähige Lösung. Wer nur gelegentlich ein Zoom Meeting führt, wird das Potenzial nicht ausschöpfen. Wer professionell arbeitet, bekommt hier ein starkes Werkzeug.
Saubere Übertragung ohne jegliche Verzögerung
Ich arbeite in hybriderweise. Das bedeutet, sowohl von unserem Zuhause aus, als auch im Büro. Das kann ich mir frei einteilen.Oft war es dann der Fall, wenn ich Präsentationen halten musste oder generell an Meetings teilnehme, dass es in meinem Arbeitszimmer zuhause der Klang, als auch die reine Übertragung über den Laptop stockte.Da ich das zukünftig vermeiden möchte, habe ich diesen Artikel bestellt.Die Kamera selber ist bereits absolute klasse. Direkt an den Stromkreislauf angeschlossen, stellt die Kamera sich ein, ohne dass ich etwas unternehmen muss. Das geschieht komplett automatisch und ich schaue nur zu, bis alles in der reinsten Perfektion abgeschlossen ist.Am Fuß der Kamera hat man dann etwaige Schnittstellen, wie HDMI oder auch USB, dass man die Kamera mit den einzelnen Gerätschaften auch in Verbindung bringen kann.Steuern kann ich die Kamera entweder manuell am Fuß, oder einfach mit der mitgelieferten Fernbedienung. Diese wird ohne Batterien geliefert, was aber nicht weiter tragisch ist. So kann ich meine aufladbaren Batterien nutzen und schone damit die Umwelt.Über die Kamera hat man die typischen Funktionen, wie etwas: Laut oder Leise einstellen, aber auch weit mehr und man kann gute tatsächlich nichts verkehrt machen. Da alles, was ich getestet habe, die Kamera umwandelt und sowohl die Bildübertragung sehr gut ist, als auch der gesamte Klang.Der Klang kommt sehr authentisch herüber und Nebengeräusche oder reine Störgeräusche, werden hier gefiltert und der Empfänger bekommt nur den reinen Klang mit. Diese Steuerung dafür ist ebenfalls sehr einfach konstruiert, dass auch Menschen, die damit nicht tagtäglich in Berührung kommen, damit sehr gut und schnell zurecht kommen.Ich bin absolut begeistert und deswegen vergebe ich sehr gerne meine vollen 5 Sterne und kann klar meine mehr als deutliche Weiterempfehlung aussprechen.
Hochwertige Verarbeitung, tolle Bild- und Tonqualität, unkomplizierte Einrichtung…
Wir haben die Kamera jetzt über mehrere Tage für Videokonferenzen genutzt und waren in Summe durchaus beeindruckt von der Performance. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Auto-Tracking-Funktion: Die Kamera folgt Personen im Raum sehr flüssig und zuverlässig, sodass man sich frei bewegen kann, ohne ständig die Kamera neu ausrichten zu müssen. Das macht alles deutlich komfortabler und lässt es professioneller erscheinen.Die Bildqualität in 4K ist klar und detailliert, selbst bei Nahaufnahmen oder wenn der 10-fache optische Zoom genutzt wird, bleibt das Bild scharf und stabil. Über HDMI oder USB 3.0 lässt sich die Kamera unkompliziert an Computer, Beamer oder Streaming-Setups anschließen, und sie wird in Plattformen wie Zoom oder Teams problemlos erkannt. Die Einrichtung ist insgesamt unkompliziert und die Verbindung bleibt in der Regel stabil.Für größere Räume ist die Kamera eine deutliche Aufwertung gegenüber normalen Webcams. Sie liefert sowohl bei Weitwinkelaufnahmen als auch bei fokussierten Zoom-Bildern professionelle Ergebnisse. Die Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig, die Funktionen sind sinnvoll und durchdacht. Excellent audio and visual
The quality of both the camera and the Bluetooth speakerphone is excellent, and this system has turned out to be a really versatile piece of kit that blows any standard webcam out of the water.Setting up the microphone was straightforward. Pairing it via Bluetooth took seconds, and once I sorted the input and output settings on my laptop, the audio came through clear and natural. The speaker picks up voices from across the room without straining, quiet comments or lively group discussions all get captured properly, which is ideal for meetings where people aren't huddled around one spot.The camera side is just as good. Plugging it in via USB was plug-and-play, no drivers or faffing about. The picture is sharp and detailed, and that 20X optical zoom is brilliant for pulling in close on whoever's speaking or highlighting something on a whiteboard. The PTZ movement is smooth and precise; I can pan and tilt to follow different people without it feeling jerky. The remote control makes life easy, I set a few presets for common layouts, and switching between them is quick and seamless.It's good whether it be for streaming services, running Zoom training sessions, corporate calls, even live streams. It integrates cleanly with Teams and Zoom too, no compatibility headaches.Overall, I'm impressed with this setup. The combination of crisp video, reliable audio, and practical features makes it a proper upgrade for anyone doing hybrid meetings, presentations, or content creation. Great camera at good peice
This camera is awesome. Was able to use it through an rtsp stream to get to OBS great tracking and small learning curve. Would definitely look at it again if I need another. Quality was great as well.
Excellent picture and sound
I got this as an upgrade to an existing Tongveo set up for video conferencing. Our system has been working perfectly for a long time and there was no real need to upgrade but seeing as the Tongveo had performed so well we thought that we might as well go to 4K as tech moves on and it's nice to move with the times.It was easy to set up and the quality of both the video and the sound is outstanding. As with the older Tongveo PTZ conference cam, the build quality is great. It feels durable and looks very well made and professional. We use our system primarily for video conferencing and online training, but something like this is perfect for larger rooms and halls, especially church services and trade conferences. We don't use half the features that this Tongveo 4K model can offer - and it really is feature packed. The large puck-style microphone is a massive improvement for us and our clients appreciate the clear sound that they recieve.At almost £350 this isn't the cheapest webcam you can buy but it's a worthy investment, especially for churches, conference halls and other facilities such as that. Yes, it's overkill for us, but it's also made our conference calls so much better, and for that reason alone it's worth 5 stars.
Impressive build, functions and optical quality, let down by a few small caveats
Despite a few early reservations regarding compatibility and setup, I have been very impressed by this camera's build quality, optics, and AI functions. One of the brand's high-end models, this 4K model has an impressive 20x optical zoom to complement its high-resolution sensor. Although the camera has no onboard microphone, this model includes an excellent standalone conference mic with Bluetooth functionality.As a former professional camera operator, I was quite surprised to discover how far AI tracking software has advanced, not to mention the optical quality available at a sub-£400 price point. While a device like this could never replace a 'proper' 4k video camera in terms of image quality, colour reproduction, and sound, it is more than capable of delivering top-tier web conferencing and live streaming for social media. This is generally a plug-and-play device, and with the manufacturer's software installed, can be set up to track a person around a small room or large space with surprising accuracy. I was particularly pleased to find that the camera's geared gimbal moves exceptionally smoothly and quietly, offering controllable acceleration and movement pauses via the software settings. In practice, this means you can tailor the camera's motion tracking to achieve more professional footage than any standard webcam can produce.Due to the lack of accessible instructions, it took me a while to figure out why I was unable to control the camera's pan, tilt and zoom functions using the on-screen software interface. I eventually discovered that although the software shows buttons for this, they only work on the camera's handheld remote control unit (and only when the AI tracking is deactivated).The box includes everything you need for instant setup, including a standalone conference mic with an excellent built-in speaker and microphone. This is a rechargeable Bluetooth device (with a USB dongle included), which can also communicate with your phone, enabling hands-free calls.The included instructions are minimal, and this is where the package falls a little short of expectations, as in my case, I experienced intermittent communication with my laptop and PC when I first plugged it in. After unplugging devices and restarting the computer a few times, it eventually managed to establish a proper connection on my main PC. I didn't have the same success on my laptop though, which, as yet, can't 'see' the camera for more than a few seconds.After downloading the required software using the suggested web link, the camera automatically discovers the nearby wifi network and connects to it - this part really couldn't be any easier. Once successfully connected, auto-tracking can be activated at the press of a button. A video preview window shows you what is being captured, and the system AI deduces who is 'the presenter' and tracks them accordingly, smoothly reframing them within the picture as and when they move. It also adjusts zoom if needed, utilising its impressive autofocus and 20x optical range, which means that, unlike cheap webcams, it does not introduce digital noise on close-ups.If you need its advanced features, such as if you're a professional content creator or run live-streamed events from a venue, this device is certainly worth the current asking price of £350. While build quality is excellent, the system is let down slightly by an apparent lack of connection stability and much-needed guidance and troubleshooting options. That said, you do not need to be any kind of computer or video expert to use this device and achieve professional results.
Interesting but frustrating
Last week I was at a conference where the provision for online attendees was via a pan / tilt / zoom camera, except from Logitech and costing well over twice as much as the £189 this was when I got it. It worked so well that I was really interested to try this one.I wasn't surprised that there's no microphone with this (fortunately, I have a very good conference mic) and note that it's a three hundred and fifty degree pan, not three hundred and sixty: you can't put this in the middle of a table and go one way around, getting back to where you started.The remote is slightly different to the one in the photos, having more buttons that, for example, allow control over exposure or mirroring the image. Another new set allow you to have the camera automatically follow something as it moves around the room. By default, that seems to be 'something that looks like the only person in the picture', but you can tell it something else is more important. The following is quite slow - it lets you get close to the edge of the picture before it will start to move - and especially if you're close to the camera, you'll need to move slowly or it will lose you. There's no obvious way to say 'keep this in the middle of the picture all the time'.The picture quality is OK (and the better codecs are supported at good frame rates at the highest resolution). But I have webcams that were a lot cheaper that have noticeably better video, albeit none of them do a 3x optical zoom. There's supposed to be the option to have a digital zoom further than that but the zoom buttons don't seem to go further than 3x and I very probably wouldn't like the results if they did. If you want more, others in the range will go to 12x or 20x, but cost significantly more.The focusing only seems to work in auto mode: although manual focusing is an option on the remote, I can't see a difference between the 'near' and 'far' options and there's no way to adjust it more finely. Similarly using the classic trick of zooming in on the object you want, focusing on that, then zooming out again keeping it in sharp focus doesn't work - it'll focus happily on the object when zoomed in, then refocus when you zoom out again. An "assistant" program says it helps with focusing, but is Windows-only and the downloadable 'manual' for it is the sheet that's in the box telling you how to get it.But the main frustration is that, for something that presents as a UVC webcam, it's fussy about what it will work with. Zoom, yes, although you will have to do all your setup before letting people into the meeting because you can't see the onscreen menus in Zoom's preview of the video. OBS Studio, yes.But a couple of other programs that work with literally every other webcam I have ever tried them with, including using them to see what resolution and video codec they will use, just show a static image of what this saw when the program started. I cannot get either of them to get video from it and I have no idea why not.
