Wonderful item, always use it in VR

boy,... wo fang ich an ?Das inital Setup hat bei mir ~3h Stunden gedauert, weil du 8 Seiten (4 jeweils unten/oben) scannen darfst und sobald dem Tracker auch nur eine Seite nicht passt, du ALLES von vorne machen darfst anstatt die eine problematische Stelle erneut scannen zu können. Im Zimmer volle Beleuchtung plus extra LED Strahler ins Zimmer gerichtet bringt zwar eine deutliche Verbesserung, trotzdem verliert zufällig ein Tracker innerhalb einer Stunde trotzdem 2-3 mal seine Position.Einmal gefühlt für nur 1 Sek die Kamera bedeckt (weil... man bewegt und steht halt entsprechend), zack. Bein tracking verloren.Gehst ein paar Schritte "außerhalb" deines Playspaces? Zack, komplett alles verloren.Dann heißt es erstmal diesen Tracker neustarten. Das ist ein Glücksgriff ob es das Problem bereits behebt da die Tracker sich kaum von selbst erholen.Meist musste ich dann die Space Calibration wieder machen. Auch hier gibt es kein Muster wie ich das zu bewerkstelligen habe. Über den "Master" Tracker? Über den einen Tracker der gerade "lost" ist ? Keine Ahnung. Irgendwann gehts dann auf einmal wieder.Ahja und hast mal ein Möbelstück verstellt (Tisch z.b) oder adjustierst deinen Guardian / Playspace? Dann darfst du ALLES, von vorne, erneut initial setup, kalibrieren.....WENN sie aber mal funktionieren? Ja. Toll. Absolut super ! Smooth und akkurat. Akkulaufzeit mit max. Hz Frequenz ca 7 Stunden (durchgehend).Allerdings verbring ich gefühlt 50% meiner Spielzeit bzw. der Akkuleistung damit, diese Dinger immer und immer wieder neuzukalibrieren, neu zu synchronisieren etc. Das macht so, vorallem für diesen Preis, keinen Spaß und ich bereu den Kauf.Zum Schluss noch eine Randbemerkung: Der Tracker benötigt u.a ein USB zu USB-C Kabel für Updates oder zum Laden. So ein Kabel ist NICHT enthalten. Warum ?!

Müll mit Quest 3
Benutze sie nun schon seit einer weile. Wenn man VIEL Geduld hat kann man sie ggf kaufen. Für meinen Fall: Die Tracker verlieren ständig die verbindung zum dongle. Des weiteren muss ich sie vor JEDER verwendung neu Kalibrieren, neue Karte vom Spielbereich erstellen. Wenn man Glück hat geht alles, wenn nicht: Nun sagen wir mal so. Ich habe sie in VRChat getestet und bevorzuge es nun im Desktop Mode zu Spielen. Solange ich Stehe ist alles Wunderbar, aber Sitzen oder gar Liegen ist nahezu undenkbar für mich.Ich nutzte sie zusammen mit der Quest 3, vielleicht liegt es auch daran.Ich für meinen Teil kann hier nur eine Kaufempfehlung für die aussprechen, die Geld los werden möchten. Wobei es schneller geht es einfach in den Müll zu werfen

VIVE Ultimate Tracker – Precisione incredibile e una nuova libertà nella VR
Utilizzo questi VIVE Ultimate Tracker principalmente su VRChat, per fitness, giochi e presto anche per motion capture. Ho scelto il pacchetto da tre unità, con due tracker posizionati sulle caviglie e uno sul bacino. L’esperienza che offrono è andata ben oltre le mie aspettative.Precisione impressionante senza stazioni baseProvengo da confronti con persone che usano soluzioni open-source economiche e posso dirlo senza dubbio: la scelta dei VIVE Ultimate è stata la più sensata.Grazie alle telecamere integrate, il tracking è estremamente preciso anche in movimenti rapidi e complessi, e tutto questo senza bisogno di stazioni base costose o ingombranti. I tracker riescono a riallinearsi molto velocemente nell’ambiente, senza necessità di continue ricalibrazioni: basta che “rivedano” la stanza tramite le loro camere e tornano subito nella posizione corretta.Immersione totale: muoversi come il proprio avatarLa cosa che mi ha sorpresa più di tutto è l’impatto emotivo:immergersi in realtà virtuale e vedere il proprio avatar muoversi esattamente come il tuo corpo è qualcosa che non si può capire finché non lo si prova.Il tracking è stabile, senza lag, senza drifting, e gli unici momenti in cui può interrompersi è quando si coprono accidentalmente le telecamere—cosa normale per dispositivi di questa categoria.Illuminazione e preparazione della stanzaPer ottenere il massimo è necessario preparare un minimo l’ambiente:mantenere sempre la stessa illuminazione quando li si usa;evitare lampadari troppo bassi, perché l’ombra del corpo può confondere i sensori (ho risolto sollevando il lampadario);aggiungere due punti luce laterali per rendere la stanza più uniforme;opzionale ma utile: aggiungere qualche oggetto o adesivo dove le superfici sono troppo uniformi, così le camere hanno più punti di riferimento.Una volta sistemata la stanza, i tracker lavorano in modo impeccabile.Configurazione: semplice… dopo aver capito come funzionaAmmetto che la configurazione iniziale non è stata immediata. Non avendo mai usato tracker prima, i menu guidati non spiegano tutto e danno per scontate diverse cose.Detto questo, una volta imparato il flusso, ora ci metto davvero pochi minuti per sistemare tutto.L’unico piccolo difetto: con visori di terze parti (in particolare su SteamVR) all’avvio devo ripetere una breve procedura per riallineare l’ambiente. Nulla di grave, ma sarebbe bello vedere una migliore automazione in futuro.Batteria, ricarica e comfortDurata: circa 6 ore. Io non sono mai arrivata a scaricarli completamente: al 20% li rimetto in carica per preservarne nel tempo la qualità.Ricarica: veloce con caricatore rapido USB-C o con una porta potente del PC; più lenta su USB standard ma comunque accettabile.Comfort: sono compatti, ben costruiti e si collegano e scollegano facilmente dalla cintura. Non sono “ultraleggeri”, ma si sente la solidità e la batteria capiente.Stabilità di connessione: nessuna disconnessione. Zero.Il dongle e il cradle: piccoli ma fondamentaliIl dongle USB-C funziona al meglio insieme al piccolo cradle incluso. Una volta posizionato, la connessione è sempre stata affidabile e stabile. Non ho mai avuto un singolo problema da quando l’ho configurato correttamente.Meglio delle alternative economicheLe soluzioni open source sono utilizzabili anche sotto le coperte, perché non hanno telecamere, ma:richiedono tarature molto più frequenti,perdono la posizione con più facilità,non raggiungono nemmeno lontanamente la stessa precisione e naturalezza di movimento.I VIVE Ultimate, al contrario, seguono i movimenti del corpo alla perfezione.ConclusioneI VIVE Ultimate Tracker sono un investimento serio, ma cambiano completamente il modo in cui si vive la VR.Una volta sistemata l’illuminazione e imparate le prime configurazioni, offriranno un tracking accurato, stabile e immersivo, capace di trasformare completamente l’esperienza virtuale.Probabilmente in futuro ne acquisterò altri due.Consigliatissimi.
Waste of time, money and stress.
DO NOT BUY. Very poor tracking, did not work. Purchasing this for me, was a complete waste of time. Don't bother dealing with the stress of purchasing something so expensive with such poor performance and quality. Save your money and time for something more valuable. Trust my word.
Waste of money and time
Worst tracking ever. Setup is a NIGHTMARE. I highly recommend buying the other 3.0 trackers and NOT these. They require light to work. So if anything near a shadow casts over the tracker it stops working. You have then to re do the setup on the app itself (the nightmare) and once your done with that YOU HAVE TO DO THE SAME THING IN STEAMVR) I seriously don't recommend these at all. Don't let the price fool you.
