    Die Siedler von Catan ist für mich eines dieser seltenen Brettspiele, die auch nach langer Zeit nichts von ihrer Faszination verlieren. Das Spielprinzip ist ebenso einfach zu verstehen wie strategisch anspruchsvoll: Ressourcen sammeln, handeln, planen und taktisch klug bauen – jede Partie verläuft anders und bleibt bis zum Schluss spannend.Besonders begeistert bin ich davon, wie gut sich das Spiel generationenübergreifend spielen lässt. Nach einer längeren Spielpause konnte ich problemlos wieder einsteigen und spiele es inzwischen regelmäßig mit meiner achtjährigen Tochter. Die Regeln sind klar strukturiert, logisch nachvollziehbar und ermöglichen auch jüngeren Spielern einen schnellen Zugang, ohne dass das Spiel an Tiefe verliert.     I started playing this game 1 month ago and its really fun.It is really flexibel, you can play it with family and children just for fun but also with friends and be really competitive.It feels like a better version of monopoly where you can always win even if you start with a bad hand, rarely do you ever feel like there is no way to win.The quality is fine.There are some small parts that you might lose easily but thats fine if you are a bit careful.A round with 3 players takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes.A round with 4 players takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes.

    Die Siedler von Catan gehört für mich ganz klar zu den absoluten All-Time-Classics unter den Brettspielen. Es ist leicht zu erlernen, bietet aber gleichzeitig genug strategische Tiefe, um auch nach vielen Partien noch spannend zu bleiben.Besonders empfehlenswert ist das Spiel in Kombination mit der Erweiterung Städte & Ritter, die das Grundspiel noch einmal deutlich aufwertet und zusätzliche taktische Möglichkeiten eröffnet. Dadurch gewinnt das Spiel spürbar an Komplexität und Langzeitmotivation.An die neuere Plastikversion musste ich mich anfangs erst gewöhnen, inzwischen finde ich sie aber durchaus praktisch und robust im Spielalltag.Insgesamt ein zeitloses Spiel, das in keiner gut sortierten Spielesammlung fehlen sollte – sowohl für Einsteiger als auch für erfahrene Spieler eine klare Empfehlung.

    Un très bon jeu. Je l'ai racheté pour pouvoir y jouer quand l'autre boîte est prise par un autre membre de la famille ;)En version allemande, heureusement nous le connaissons et avons la règle en français (de l'autre jeu) car les cartes ne changent pas mais comme nous ne savons pas lire l'allemand...Je recommande, jeu de stratégie et de hasard. Toutes les parties ne se ressemblent pas.

    Aunque viene en alemán, para aquellos que ya habíamos jugado y nos sabíamos las reglas, son 20 euros más por tenerlo en español.Al fin y al cabo, el tablero tiene pocas letras, jajaja y es el mismo juego.Como juego de mesa, creo que hay muy pocos tan entretenidos y de los que nunca te cansas como este. Una vez dentro del universo Catán, con sus expansiones y demás, hay miles de horas de diversión asegurada.Muy recomendable y ya os digo, vale la pena bajarse de internet las instrucciones en español y ahorrarse la mitad en el juego.

    This review is for Catan, base game, German edition.I have been playing Catan for more than a decade. I wanted the German version to introduce a German conversation group to the joys of the Catan game. My original English set has simple wooden pieces and the card pieces are of better quality. This set is better organised, and takes all the pieces well.However, the playing pieces are cheap 3D-printed very light plastic - the plastic pieces in the Family version are much better, but they cannot be expanded. It would be great if I could just buy the cards and two sets of the family version brown and green playing pieces for the expansion set, but no one seems to offer them. They used to be available?So somewhat disappointed. Sorry Kosmos.
