    Der Stab funktioniert zuverlässig und hält Messer im Alltag deutlich schärfer. Die Handhabung ist sicher und unkompliziert.Es handelt sich um einen klassischen Wetzstab, der den Grat der Schneide aufrichtet. Genau diese Aufgabe erfüllt er sehr gut.

    Das Teil hier ist erstklassig: wirksam, lang und hat einen schwarzen Plastikgriff. Kein Gedöns, kein Design Objekt.Hatte vorher einen Keramik-Wetz-Stab von Ikea gekauft.Hübsch aber leider komplett wirkungslos.Hab den Ikeastab dann auch sofort weggeworfen.

    This is not a sharpener but a honing tool, it complements an actual sharpener and its purpose is to maintain the knives edge (while a sharpener actually creates the cutting edge).That being said, this product is great and literally revitalises your knives without costing a fortune. It’s a bit on the large size so it’s relatively heavy and slightly difficult to store, but to me it’s perfect for both standard and large chef’s knives.Learn how to use it and you won’t need to resharpen the knives so often, while having a perfect edge for every single cut.
